Wondering if you could just actually use a shotgun instead of a drill to make a sgfc. Probably need the right choke and bird shot to get it right haha

Have clean germination of cube variety "Xapuri" on agar 5 days after being inoculated with a 4 year old print. Don't see that variety around much if at all anymore.

That's a thumbdown indeed. Dude needs to break off at least a piece of it, especially if he's not doing anything with it. It only takes a few spores to make a mountain of mushrooms. I'll never understand the need to feel like genetics must be hoarded.

Now, it's been noted that these fruits were sorta stringy, but hey... PE spore prints!
My original PE3 from 2001 wasn't as 'fat' stemmed as a regular PE, but was a good printer, as can be seen from the spores on the stipes. I don't know if this latest incarnation is from the prints I released at the time or not. Not to be confused with PE 6 which is a PE/Tex cross and an excellent printer also. RR

too expensive, that's why we use heat treatment...Quote:

no. it's hard because we never know if any of them are stabilized...

Misused antibiotics is just piss poor practice all around. Almost no one in hobby cube cultivation has ever needed antibiotics

Haha, that's the old honeycomb cereal commercial jingle. The darn thing was stuck in my head. It helped to get the song out of my head by typing it above, so I am grateful for that.

Anyone use whatever size jars hold two full quarts? Unsure of the exact size. Maybe half gallon. Picked three of them up at a yard sale yesterday and did the math. Seems one large jar would hold atleast 4 myco quarts, which would be plenty for me to run mini monos with one huge jar per tub. These super huge jars are making me want to fire something up again.
Haven't tried to run anything in atleast a month or two now. Fall is coming though. Kinda feels like the time to pick it back up and try again.
