Agreed. I'm still working on my SAB work and I've been trying a lot of new stuff lately. These jars were the first print->agar->grain I've done. I transferred some to new plates before taking to grain so I still have culture. I just got a pin on one of them too. Will look to transfer that

Well I did have a decent amount of success at the beginning. My first bulk grow yielded 12oz from 3 flushes between two tubs before succumbing to trich. I inoculated open air in a bathroom with MS syringes. I had found old teks via google before finding this place. I then immediately switched to agar. I took clones from the first flush that did not survive but 2 from the 2nd flush did and I got 4 jars out of one that ended up pushing out 5 flushes with over 200% BE. I just made a mini tub of 2 jars of another clone. My success rates with plates and jars from these clones has been less than 50%. The jar with the yeast one of two I had left out of 3. I tossed one last week that turned green. They are all trash now. I did do some transfers before doing the agar to grain so i still have culture- just may need to be cleaned. I've learned a lot from my failures- I feel like I got really lucky at the start and now I'm learning the real skills

Failure is the stepping stone to success.
I'm about to do some midnight culturing work. Does anybody else get restless when you know you need to advance cultures into the next step, and can't sleep until the work is done?

I have to leave for 4 days for a work trip and I'm already planning out my Sunday with all the work I'll have. I'm kinda scared I'm gonna have a sporesplotion with a monotub of TC but I guess we'll see. It's the worst kind of FOMO I think.

If I were an alien and the first thing I saw was an episode of big bang theory there wouldn't be an earth left
Look up an episode without the laugh track in the back. They can make absent minded people think cringe is funny just by playing a laugh track in the background the drones go with it
