Today I had my first colonized spawn jar that shook apart completely with nothing but a few palm slaps. It was a really good feeling...
Also it was the first jar I ever inoculated in a proper SAB.

It's getting hot down here... the bugs are bad because there was no hard freeze over winter and it's only June. If I don't leave the AC on all day it gets up close to 90, shit blows. Makes me think I might have to take a break here next month and august lol

Man. My plan is finally rolling. I'm putting in some work. Have three, four, great masters ready to expand. I don't like to do ten, twelve jars on one quart, ideally I'm going to do one master for six jars. I have six or eight jars to spawn into my 27qt minis. I'm cooking ten quarts of oats now, gonna jar those. Once they cool from the PC, gonna inoculate, then recycle those jar lids that I'm spawning into more oats, which I plan to inoculate with this grain water LC that I made. I don't know if it's LC. I added pastys super ez LC to about a half pint of cooked grain water, and let it colonize. It looks dank, don't know if it'll be good, but gonna try it on three "masters". Maybe they'll pop off. Maybe not. No big deal.
Anyway, I'm working hard, I love this stuff, and I really think I'm gonna get this pound within six weeks as I hope.

I don't think the shaking was your problem. People use blenders on their LI and LC. I've always shook myself to disperse it evenly

There's always the "RANDOM-FACTOR" in this hobby, though, too which is - what works for one doesn't always work for another.

I meant after i inoculated it .. i made some more jars with no shake and they are growing fine i would shake the lc jar while it was colonizing every 4 or 5 days

Upon inoculating with LC, try gently rolling the jar. Not vigorously shaking it.

yea I know you meant shake after inoculation. and it's not surprising that un-shook jars may have seemed to work well especially If the LC wasn't pristine clean
even jars with spore syringe inoculation can be shook it just is counter productive to speed at the start.

Don't know what to do.

How does one safely G2G from a master jar into spawn bags? My impulse sealer won't fit in my SAB and its 100+ quarts.
