that's not really how it works tho, the thermophilic bacteria protects the pasteurized manure from letting contam spores in the air land and germinate on it. they don't "defend" your sub from bad spawn. Coir does not allow mold spores to germinate on it either, and stays good way longer than past. manure does.
also the "nutrition" is manure has no effect on your grow, its just a hazard for mold to exploit.

Of coarse that is how the thermophilic line of defense manure has to offer works. Yet, for some reason you felt the need to state the obvious. As if I implied that the thermophilic line of defense pasteurized manure offers protects against bad spawn.

you were listing pro's for manure, its free, got nutrition, thermophilic bacteria defense line.
I just wanted to clear up any possible confusion that these thermophilic bacteria provides a benefit compared to using coir which does not have these thermophiles.
what you should be saying is its finicky because you have to keep thermophilic bacteria alive so the sub wont get overrun by mold in just days.
You have been posting a pretty bunch of bad advice recently, so maybe I'm just being extra cautious to make sure you're not doing it any more than necessary.

If you can sterilize your manure and spawn is sterile you should see better results because you've killed your thermophiles which help you on only the fending off mold front.
Azur never went too far with his "expirememt" but if you have the means to do it I would suggest sterilizing your manure and spawning sterile
Mycelium is still metabolising on the grain spawn even after the 3rd flush so IMO manure is just waisted nutrition when used the way we do, especially if you're not going to 4-5 flushes before tossing to try to get some returns on that investment.

azur never were a fan of changing only 1 variable at a time in his experiments tho
the thermophilic bacteria is a competitor to our mycelium yeah, but how much energy our myc spends on breaking it down IDK. enough to make a difference on your final weight you think bod?

its easy to say things, then there is doing things. grow off some horse shit. its the shit for real.

Don't think anyone has to prove capacity to cult to anyone. That kind of attitude is for 5th grade children who want to be in the NBA for some whack reason. Grow the fuck up.

Since a lot of experience growers put there tubs to fruiting right away, does that mean pinning triggers and creating environmental conditions before fruiting doesn't make a difference?

Nice. Get largest turkey bags and fit even more in, 4 qts would be a nice number and could reasonably fit in the larger ones with a gas exchange like yours.

I just got 50 large bags. Hope to be busting out mad amounts of grain and sawdust this month. Think I'm pretty stuck with Mexicana and reishi this summer as it's already up to the 90s here. Maybe some pink/yellow/Phoenix oysters if I can keep my grow chamber temp down.
I love bags a lot..
