bucket tekkin.

has held this temp for the last 45min and counting.

shouldnt be to hard to adjust the water temp to keep a reliable 160f for 1hour?.. for proper pasteurizing

yah just cv right now. but im getting about 80gallons worth of hpoo in a few days so im going to need to pasteurize the poop.
if i can do it in a bucket, id be fucking thrilled. doing it on a stove top is a pain and kinda 'earthy' smelling.

Take note of the water temp going into it? If it were me I'd use a cooler and pre heat it THEN take note of the water temp going in and adjust from there.
Let me know how that goes, please.

Hey guys. New to the site sorry.. (ha the rest of my post got deleted for some reason) I was apologising for the following (possibly noobish) question of asking about the lifecycle of subs (average time from spore to mycelium to fruiting body). Can't find anything online and was curious. Ive heard they can be quite slow growers in certain conditions

It varies from species to species. I believe cubes are one of the fastest and easiest to grow. I've had spores to agar, agar to grain, grain to bulk sub and then got fruits all within about 40'days. Some strains are slower so at the agar stage you can transfer the fastest growing edge of your culture, the faster edge indicates that it's a faster grower. But you can have fast growing mycelium that doesn't produce any fruits.
