I can't get mine to go.
Tried about 10 plates no luck. And I tried inoculating cakes with a syringe. Just got mold. Zero growth on agar plates.

Here's the link to the log with pictures of the other jars too. I plan on dunking in the morning, and putting all 5 into fruiting on Monday morning.

If a person was going to use spawn bags for spawn production is there something a step up from the AA 941 or is that a good option?
I know they have electric sterilizers as well, but I'm not sure if thats the best option...TY.

I have both the AA941 & 2 X75 steroclaves. I run spawn bags.

The AA 941 is a great option for spawn bag production. The electric stereoclaves are great also. Gas cost more to run than electricity. You can fit 6 more quart jars, and 1 more 5 quart spawn bag in the AA 941 over the x75. This is due to the amount of verticle space the electric heating element takes up. For home cultivation the All Amerian can't be beat.

looks like fungi perfecti bags, or at least the same kind
i much prefer them over alohas, aloha bags tear too easily and cost 2x as much

Nah, I don't even like fungiperfecti's bags. They are too thin for my liking.
Crispy, I get my bags from SouthEast Mushroom Company. I get the "large" gusseted bags. They measure in at 9 inches long, 5 and a half inches wide, and a whopping 24 inches tall. They are 2 mil thick.
They can comfortably fit up to 8 quarts of properly hydrated grain/seed, and still have half the bag left over to fit a nice plenum of sterile air into, plus have plenty of room to shake the grains come time to break them up.
I use the .5 micron unicorn filter patch, because my spawn is raised in a makeshift, DIY lab/clean room, so it stays very clean. Plus, with the amount of materials I run in bags at a time, they require increased measures to gas exchange.

daamn you're doing 2 gallons of grain per that's double what I do each bag. I'm rocking the AA75x and do 9 bags with a gallon of grain in each no spacers.

I fit 8, 5 quart bags into my X75's. Pressure sterilize said load @ 20 psi for 3 hours. Don't use spacers either. In the industry, when you don't use spacers, it's called "cramming".

Alright gotta ask...Why the AA75 over the 941?
Price difference is huge...Reduced capacity etc of the sterilizer...

You are correct. The price difference is huge. I am not saying one over the other, though. That's going to be personal preference. I like them both equally. Even though I find that they each have their own pro's, and con's.
You can fit a lot more into the AA941. So, that's nice. The 941 can be modified into a sterilizer. Electricity is cheaper to run than gas. The portability of the X75's is nice.

aa75x is electric. doesn't need a stovetop or burner. the heating element is built in.

I'm gonna pick this tiny first flush today, but should I pluck the blobs as well or leave them ?

I poked the big blob in the middle to see how it bruises. At first it was pale blue but now a bit yellow greenish blue? Any tips on how to remove them if that's an option?
