Yea, those two plates on the lil pic look like nice growth, when you zoom in you can see it. looks nice, I'd take an a couple isolates from that.

Hey guys I know color spectrum of light a=influences our cube grows, but does intensity affect them as well? I could see wood lovers being fine with less light as they generally grow under trees and shrubs, but cubes grow out in pasture land are exposed to more direct sunlight. Could this have an impact on pinning and fruiting?

Thanks Abductee, I'll do some transfers and label them well.
These plates are first generation off a spore syringe of Pan Cyanescens "Hawaiian" from the Spore Depot.
I'm going for the gusto!

Boogie I have no experience with LC yet but with plates and such I try to wait 3 days before use. So I'd say if nothing by tomorrow do it.

Read rules edit post. That looks good for pan mycelium transfer a few more times. What's your media recipe?

Gonna pour it into jars soon. Prepared for it to fail, but great if it works out.

I had beginners luck with spore syringe to grains so you'll probably get it

I read over a few teks just wanted a few opinions...that will probably be where I start at though..... One side question...how long should a pint of ape take to colonize? Mine are almost colonized but its been a day or two longer than 3 weeks...seems like a long time for a pint of wbs to colonize

So if I live in a dry climate, wouldn't casing be beneficial for me? Thinking about doing it next time.. Would laying thin verm out the bag be okay or will that cause contams? What is a very simple casing tek? Thanks!

Coir and verm. Or properly pasteurized peat verm.

I use straight vermiculite for casing, just don't go to thick.

Hey guys, bottle tek woes over here. this is what happened
1- I was dumb and tried a double recipe cause I was planning on running the PC twice in a row.
2- I broke the coir in tiny pieces, but it doesn't seem to have expanded properly, there are little nugs throughout.
3- I don't have a fluffy texture. I have a muddy/shitty texture.
4- Forgot about wheat bran, so I used half of the amount of whole wheat flour.
5- Instead of oats and wheat, I used two different WBS which is what I had, once with lots of oats and the other filled with cracked corn. It will work, and I don't think these grains are the culprits to this lil clusterfuck. But yeah.
6- BONUS: since i did a double recipe, had to use my PC, now I have to thoroughly clean it since it got a burnt bottom from the grains. Fuck me :3
Will it work, or am I fucked and should redo it?
