yea DFH get away with it because they're good as fuck. places like three floyds get away with it because they're popular but they're fucking dickheads in person. their lab guy is a retard irl too. hopefully they have someone new by now.
there's no standards that the government makes anyone adhere to so you could say you have a 999 IBU beer if you wanted but there would be some pretty bad press for you for doing that likely

I also underrstand that humans' max bitterness taste threshold loosely corresponds to 100 IBUs as well. Beyond that we couldn't even taste more bitternesss if there were more biterness to taste.

West coast IPA FTW... I have only tried DFH a couple times and wasn't that impressed. We have some great local breweries. Stone has gotta be my favorite large craft brewery

My towns starting too become a brewery town.. I would tell you the main one but it would give my location away but I love Oberon that's been my go too during summer months.

Stone is real good. Worked with a guy who moved to go work at stone went from being a Brewer at a 60k bbl/year brewery to pushing buttons on a centrifuge third shift for the foreseeable future
I've made something like a few hundred thousand gallons of beer in my day probably not a million yet. and i still buy a shitload of highlife
I teach off flavor training for beer sensory analysis and use Coors light as the control since it is so tasteless.
High life is actually good. Finny i hear so much from these craft enthusiast people about how shit miller is lol. Retards

Very cool Bod! I'm a homebrewer that had a 10 keg setup in my garage at one point, but had to move away from the hobby due to hops starting to mess with me. (Another story for another thread) Stone's beer garden is a great place to hang out but they are far away from their roots given the explosion in growth. The hobby/micro brew crowd gets too snobby on Inbev and massed produced light lager. Takes a lot of skill to make a light beer with no flaws - and its just refreshing! Not everything needs to be a sense bomb!

We have a restaurant dedicated to craft beers. The food is too die for pulled pork sloppy joe it's got a bit of spice to it.
Idk why everyone hates on Miller. It's definitely not the best but very far from the worst.

I shake the ever loving fuck out of my jars after A2G. Gets more inoculation points and colonize much faster that way.
Edit: disregard. Somehow I posted in the wrong thread.
I know all beer is different, my uncle's been home brewing for years. I just drink it to catch a buzz or get fucked up. could care less what the barley content is or about the faint maltiness at the back of my throat. Flame me if you must lol

Mgd and highlife are the same exact beer with 1ibu difference. They're the same batch of wort.
Mgd is filtered to 0.22 microns so it doesn't need pasteurization High life is the same beer pasteurized. I believe high life is the one that's 1IBU extra. Which is imperceivable to even a pro taster.
Neither product will skunk left in light. They use non light sensitive hop extract (basically dabs for hops) tetra-iso-humulone for instance
Also thank a lot of Miller scientists for pioneering the co2 and butane extract stuff that shifted to weed

When they were owned by Phillip Morris they did an absolute fuck ton of research. From feminine hygiene products(as sanitation and sterilization are huge in commercial brewing) to yeast genetics
