Sounds like bodhisatta has just returned from a very pleasant and insightful journey through the cosmos. Everything that was said resonates well with me.

I have to warn you that casing with straight verm is not ideal. I have tried it and was not really impressed. What I have grown to love is casing with bulk coir&verm at spawn and letting the mycelium colonize most of it before fruiting. If you check out the monotub link in my signature there is a complete rundown on how I prepare my tubs and care for them. That being said it never hurts to experiment and find what works for you

I personally find liners to be a very useful part of my grow. I wouldn't say it's a crutch at all. Rather its a personal preference and can be a great tool for cultivators. I just ran out of my blue transparent garbage bags and was contemplating not buying any more, but they do help ward off side and bottom pins so I bought another box. Even with a liner and top notch surface conditions for pinning I find I still get a few stragglers creeping up the side of the liner

i was being arrogant and chatty. i agree. true 100% no side pins is difficult to pull off and using liners should not be labeled as a crutch.

Happens to the best of us duder! I just felt the need to clarify. Advising someone with a side pinning problem to ditch their liner seems a bit misleading Even if it is unnessisary, we still gotta crawl before we can walk Fuck I sill buy gloves to mix my spawn

My last tub, no liner, using a bacterial spawn.
All the Mushrooms grew on the bottom. Not even the sides. So odd

That'll do it, yep. Now second flush looks like this. There's a third pinset coming up but whatever I just like keeping them alive as long as possible, then throwing into my houseplants. All my houseplants seem to be better than Monotubs, sgfc, all of it. I have about 25 coming up right now in three clusters, from an old nasty cake that dried up and stopped flushing after the fourth. Anyway, here the bottom fruiter

So I have a 5 gallon bucket that I dumped some bacterial grain into like 4 days ago. It has been sitting in the open air in my basement and has continued to colonize the bacterial grains. I'm sure mold will hit soon but you got to admire their determination to complete their life cycle. Maybe I should burry all those grains in a planter outside.

Do it!
My houseplants have older, molded with yellow, and some other spores growing related to decaying vegetable matter. The shrooms Love it! It's like they eat it haha. My cakes are fruiting faster than a chamber I know that. I just smashed them up, moved the dirt over, pit them in a little hole, and covered back up. For what it's worth, the plants they are in are really. Healthy and get lots of Light and water. I love plants

I've got a PEU tub I spawned the end of february it made a few fruits a week all of march and still pops up one or two now and then, I've probably put over a gallon of water back into it through misting and bottom watering now and then
anyone got any ideas on how I can make it go green already?
