Not sure if this is the correct thread but if anyone has a mycocoilusa or thermohelix, Iβm really struggling on which one to get! Not sure if posting links or IG profiles is allowed but Iβll share if they are. Cheers!

No need to post IG links, we can google.
Here's a decent build, pretty simple. Don't waste your money if you don't have to:

Good point. Just because PC kills all doesn't mean it's good to PC mold and grow on it.
I recently had 7 one-quart jars of grain ready to PC, and plates to noc them with. Realized I needed a new part for my PC. PC was shooting steam out the valve even with stopcock on, and not reaching full pressure. Dangerous and not effective.
I ordered a new part. It took a week to get here. I put the jars in the refrigerator until that got here.
Let them get fully to room temp before PCing so glass wouldn't crack in the heat. PCed, nocked, grew fine, no mold.

Insane looking phenomenon. I've been goofing around with new fruiting chamber designs... and I just looked into this one. Its a 28 liter sterilite tote inverted... and I seem to remember it was sullied with something, so I washed it with soap before setting it up. The substance is completely unknown... god knows what it was. But it apparently made stalactites of unknown materials clear down to the substrate.

Holy shit man.
I just checked a tub that was ten days old for the first time and it was full of gnats and then I found eggs stuck all over the lid, but I think yours is worse.

I see one gnat and I just about freak out and get an actual flame thrower. Or those yellow sticky things and and some mosquito bits.

It will work but I have two issues with it, one soft one hard.
- I dislike like the dumbed down pressure gauge. - Iβm at altitude and need it to go to 18. Instead of a weighted rocker it has a dial for pressures 1, 2, and 3. No way to boost the pressure.

I would go with a presto or say fuck it and save for an AA -- but that's just me.

I also bought a pc off Amazon for $99 and it blew a hole out the back within a month. That one you posted looks way more legit than what I got though.

Tfal is a very well known European brand, I would definitely trust that pc.

π― agree. IIRC the T-Fal pc turned some heads when it was introduced. High quality, easy, safe, and inexpensive. If it suits your purposes go for it without hesitation.
