Also, would an air purifier in the grow room be of a worthwhile benefit? Not necessarily for the smells, but does it help that? Haven't been having mold issues, just ensuring the cleanest environment.
Nah air purifier isn’t necessary

It's not neccesary, but if you have one run it for yourself anyways.
Dry your mush outside if it's a bother

There's a post here somewhere where the dude added a dome on his dehydrator and added some ducting leading to a carbon scrubber to purify the exhaust air.

I just close the door to the room the dehydrator is running in and open the top of the window a few inches. Even in the winter time, it's fine. Then you can burn a candle or incense in the room after it's done and they're stored away.

I did a josex poke with king oyster to 1%/L SSLC. The agar puck (2oz cup, ~10ml) was too shallow to accommodate for the slant of the needlepoint and I had difficulty obtaining biopsy. I’m sure it’s been asked before but I can’t figure out how to click the link in my own sig. help I can’t poke. I tried placing the slant of the needle flush with the agar surface and pushing down at an angle for a better chance of something getting in there. Maybe my agar is too soft.

Hi guys, first time grower here. I have a basic shoebox going, put it under an LED and a timer a week ago, and today I spotted these dots in multiple places. My surface looks kinda messed up, I accidentally bought this brick of coir that was definitely not shredded and had big pieces in it. Actually the pic is of one these bigger chunks. So my question is are these normal or some kind of contamination? I'm just keeping the lid on normally but not locked. I only mist the top if it looks dry to get the small beads of water, the lower pic was taken right after misting.
