It's always been fuzzy. These agar plates are quite low nutes and still can't draw out any rhizomorphic growth. This is literally atleast 9 or 10 transfers. Had this going for over 8 months.

Damn, I'm still on 1st plate. I'll just try to get something clean for a small tub and hope that pops a nice clone.

I recently inoculated 9 oat jars with LI from letting one of those plates pin, then cloning a agar pin, then that plate grew too long and pinned ALOT, so I inoculated with that plate per advice from respected members that it's probably fine to use.
Now that, it's growing great in the jars from what I can see.

Hey dudes, I want to try out Pasty's bottle tek. I'm going to be using shredded straw since that seems like the easiest prep and I'm a lazy fuck. I have a few questions though.
1- BEst place to find shredded straw in most cities, I don't have a lawnmower or fancy space like that.
2- Do those soup containers work or is it ill advised? I need to get a lot of the Twist and Locks and they seem overpriced a bit. What are some good alternatives?
3- What yield do most of you guys get per flush per bottle? Considering I can fit 9-10 in my PC, if it's close to 20gs a flush that is quite significant.
4- I'm assuming that inoculation to fruiting is quicker than via monotubs since once the grain jars are colonized they are good to go as opposed to needing to colonize a monotub. Am I right?
