That's about normal from what I hear, in the Denver metro area at any rate. $10 Per gram, discounted for larger quantities.
Crazy prices in comparison to here. Makes me wonder if prices will go up or down with popularity & publicity increasing.

Prices where I’m at are all over the place depending who you know. Some people want $300 an oz and some $75. It’s the weird mixture of having lots of bulk growers and rich middle age white women who think they’re shamans now that shrooms are trendy.

What's up, tryp! Hope you're doing well, dude!
I had gifs of me pulling from slants, but looks like they're dead now. Shit. I had so many fucking videos recorded of me doing everything for folks and my laptop crashed. Oh well.

I'd often unscrew the cap with my pinky on the hand holding the blade and hold it, face down, while transferring. You can't see it, but it's there. Oh, trust me, it's there.

I also bent an inoculation loop way back when. It was perfect for all sorts of shit without ever being held over the open media. Maybe that'll help.

Oh God, yes, so many 'plastic shamans'. All it takes is a trip to Peru for a few months, often not even that. I even came across someone who swears that she's a shaman because she took a six week, online course. It would be laughable if it weren't so...actually it's just laughable.

Question: I'm running these cool DIY bucket dehydrators at 160f, full of 10 lbs of wet fruit for 12 hours.... I harvest in the morning and the evening.... But if they come to be finished drying and I don't vacuum seal them right away, they immediately start to take back water content. And if I leave the fruit drying in 160f, they start to darken and look crispy.
What do others do in this situation? I've never had such hot dehydrators, so in the past it felt more casual and I could package at my convenience.

If there isn't a safety issue, I would strongly recommend doing 24 hours at around 160F, for larger harvests especially. That way at least they are more likely to be cracker dry. Though I'd also not leave the fruits in the dehydrator for more than an hour or so after they've dried, if that, for the reason you mentioned. They can indeed quickly take up moisture again.

I'm getting cracker dry at 12hr. My problem is that sometimes that 12 ends while I'm sleeping. I'm finding my fruit (golden teacher) to darken when I over dry... like 24hrs.
I just realized I could use an old school timer, with the half hour pull cogs. have it run the 12, then kick on every third increment to keep it dry but not over dried.
Or a light bulb in the bucket, on always.

Are you sure??
The dark and crispy ones sound like they’re cracker dry. You can’t overdo it, I’ve left some running in the dehydrator for a week before and they look the same as they did after a day.
If you’ve done the dehydrator/weigh/dehydrate/weigh thing to make sure they’re finished then I would start storing them in jars or bags with desiccant packs til you’re ready to vacuum seal.

Yes, Though I haven't run a temperature test on all my buckets, maybe some are running hot. My other dehydrators run at about 135f and I leave them in there for 48 hours, and they look lighter in color. I have been noticing this, but ignoring it, because it was my belief that you can't over dry... then some friends started mentioning it, requesting the lighter color fruits. So I'm chasing down the problem. When I catch it at 12 hours, they are fine.
