PE trinity tub:
Strongest cubes I've had to date. Very generous flushes.
However, after a generous first flush... there were explosions of tiny mushrooms that matured tiny (like half a cm tiny). Then some nice sized fruits appeared again. Why does this happen? How do I avoid that flush of tiny fruits in between flushes?

Are they yeti? Give’em a squeeze, if they’re squishy and soft they’re good to go 👍

Sooo… where is the line between leucistic and albino? Had a tub of APER go green after 2nd flush so popped it out the back to dump after dark cos my neighbours are nosy, skip to a week later cos I’m lazy and I see a small 3rd flush has popped up, harvest quickly and throw in dehydrator cos I’m busy, bag it later and am confused as they look like my JF if I harvest early, check the tub and find this

Only little’uns, cloned 1 though, but wtf? Is it leucistic but with clear spores? Is it just showing reverted APE characteristics? Is it actually albino? And how did these not show up till 3rd flush? Every APER grow I’ve done has had dark gills and spores and that goes for every previous shroom in that tub

Leucistic = partial loss of all types of pigmentation
Usually in cubes, all pigmentation but the spore pigmentation is lost. Almost all albino, but has colored spores = leucistic
Albinism is a complete loss of pigmentation, including spores (at least that is the working definition in our area of discussion)

Yeah spores is the main one aside from leucistics usually being slightly cream colored instead of pure white. If the spores are dark it’s not albino.

I've been slacking lately so I made up for it today. Running a few quarts of WBS in the PC, knocked up a quart with APE6 agar wedges, Made an agar slurry from APE6 and inoculated 3 BRF jars, made transfers before using the agar for the above, sequestered a shoe box of B+ that came down with the green death. Cut out the tric and will let the other half finish flushing out in the garage. Made another attempt at LC with the APE6. I hope it works but I'm not getting my hopes up. LC and I don't seem to get along very well. And if I have time today, I'll make up some substrate for the jars I have that are almost ready to go. Since I'm running low on vermiculite, I may go with just coir this time, does anyone have a good recipe for that? I'm used to doing coir and verm so my usual water ratio will be different with just coir and I'm too lazy to wing it lol. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day today and may the mycology gods smile upon all of you

I shook them already, will let them go back to 100% and take more pics.
Of course they will grow mold at some point, look at my sig you think I'm some kind of amateur.
Alright jar pic time again. This is T+4days after 90% shake. And the last shake has infact revealed the truth. They are a tiny itsy bitsy fucksy bacterial.
Amazon (they are not that creamy IRL, they actually look the best of all of them, I don't know what the fuck the phone decided to focus on, probably the actual jar glass or some shit like that ) :

Hawai (middle of the way, a bit slower than the others):

Golden Teacher (the "worst", a shitload of sporadic rhizo) :

Now, I was thinking of birthing the Amazon tomorrow since they are pretty much fully colonized and let the others colonize a bit more, until let's say Monday. On the other hand since these are bit bacterial, should I wait some more in general and just birth them all on Monday? Give them a bit more of a fighting chance?
I also cracked the lids a bit more just in case the extra FAE helps.
In other news I have 10 quarts that completely fucking stalled due to dry grain, which I'm trying to revive with water injections, it's kinda working, but that's a story for a different post.

So I’ve now got an albino APER? Meh, I’ll grow it out and see what it does.

Hello Shroomery,
I probably won't ever post much, but the info here has been super helpful and allowed me to successfully grow some cubes! I've been wanting to do this for about a decade at this point, so I thought I'd post here to thank all you people who contribute here.

Hi Shred!
I lurked this forum for about ten years before I took the plunge and made a profile. So much better being able to interact with other experienced growers. You will get the bug and want bigger, better and more varied grows as your knowledge, confidence and technique develop throughout the years. I still go away and drop in / lurk to refresh and get ideas. Things have changed a lot but thats progress eh? I'd actually go as far to say that ultimately shroomery changed the course of my life but thats a different story.
Anyway. Welcome. Good luck, get growing and get some pics up!!
