I never noticed until now that Dimebag Darrell and John Lennon have the same death day. (and both shot by crazy fans)

Dimebag Darrell's killer was an ex-marine, sometimes homeless sometimes drug addict. He shot Darrell on stage during a club show of Darrell's side band. The killer shot and killed 3 other people too.
Darrell's killer was a fan of Darrell's main band, Pantera, and yelled "This is for breaking up Pantera" before shooting him.
The killer was not torn limb from limb by an angry crowd (though he might have been if it had been a Pantara show).
Darrell's killer was trying to kill more people and was killed on the spot by a cop.
I've heard conflicting stories, of that is was an off duty cop, or on-duty cop. (maybe on duty but ducking out for a show? Just a guess)
John Lennon's killer went to NYC specifically to kill him. He stayed in a hotel a few days, stalking Lennon around town. One day he walked up to Lennon in front of Lennon's home, got an autograph. Some other fan snapped a photo of him talking to Lennon.
Killer waited around and later that night he walked up to Lennon and shot him, in front of Lennon's home. That loon is still in prison.
John Lennon's killer was a crazy Christian and there's a good chance he killed Lennon because Lennon once said the Beatles were "Bigger than Jesus" (probably true at the time.)
And maybe also because of Lennon's line "The way things are going, they're gonna crucify me."
This is the photo of John Lennon signing an autograph for / with the guy who killed him a few hours later. Fucking spooky photo to me.

Jesus. Creepy.
Quality posts like that must be how you have 4000 posts in 4 months.
All of my post is from public info, mostly from memory. Both deaths affected me a lot and I saw / read a lot about both of them over the years. ---

Chapman had a copy of it with him. The book might have had nothing do do with the murder, but people like to see a pattern because a few killers have been a fan of that book.
I read it in school and think it's a boring book about a narcissistic kid who has everything, and no good reason to be pissy.
But maybe it's an interesting read for bored / depressed / isolated people who are mostly just feeling sorry for themselves.
If "catcher in the rye" really has a connection with fame-seeking killers, the book is probably a symptom more than a cause.

Monokaryotic vs Dicaryotic Mycelium
Noob here.
I'm reading the book from Mckenna on cultivation and wanted to ask you gents why is he isolating dikaryotic mycelium and inoculating grain with that as opposed to teks that just jam a syringe into the growing medium and bring the thing to fruiting stage without the necessity of selecting the dikaryotic myc, like the PF Tek for example.
Why is he doing this? Is it necessary to do this for growing on sterilized rye or can this step be skipped? Or is another tek more appropriate if this is to be skipped?

@Nectar61 : You are somewhat forcing me to call you out here
You dare PM me a long ass unidirectional (you are not accepting PM's - at least not from me) condescending message telling me how to obey YOUR rules of the Shroomery, what to post and how to do it?
Let me be the bigger man here : FUCK OFF BITCH
(right, that's not the definition of bigger man is it? Well, let's just call that my rule like you did )
PS: I believe this message belong in this thread considering the circumstances and also because from what I read in that message, I'd bet a lot of money she also sent similar messages to many other members.
I also believe none of you are here to put up with that kind of shit, and with respects to that, I have added her to my ignore list so you will never see me address her again in a public thread.
Moving on.
