HEEEELLP!
First grow, the cakes should have given a second flush, but keep stalling. The fruits start to form but don't go anywhere and seem to just stop so small and dry up.
Both cakes gave a first flush and now this has been going on for a couple of weeks.
Have no clue what i'm doing wrong. I changed nothing. Conditions are the same, SGFC they gave the first flush in is the same, temp and humidity same. One thing I noticed going through the posts here is that my sgfc is too big, but don't know what to do about this now, aside from buying a smaller box and preping it like this one.
Is there some way I can salvage this sinking ship?
Hope you guys can help.

Looks real dry to me. Did you dunk them?
-------------------- If you've never grown mushrooms before, here's how you start. First, follow the Updated PF Tek, put 4 holes in jar lids not 1, and use a water tub! The next move is Shoebox Tek. After that you move onto grains, agar, monotubs. Agar is easy, just do it. Other useful links - Picture guide for how things should look and proper surface conditions guide Growing APE or PE? Yes sir, but it's been now enough time that they should have given a second flush and should have been dunked again.

Normally, we dunk immediately, roll it in verm, then let it flush, then we dunk again after every harvest.
I'd switch from a SGFC to a water tub. Literally just get a tub, 1in of water on bottom, rack elevated above it with cakes on it.
You may benefit from a dunk or some bottom watering, but I'd wait for confirmation from someone more experienced on that.

Ok, but is there anything I can do now, like take of the fruits and dunk again and change something in the setup so that they don't dry up again?

Ok, should I first take the fruits off and dunk them and then proceed as you say or just leave it as is and bottom water from time to time and mist them, e.g. every other day or something like that?

Since he didn't say dunk I'd probably just bottom water your cakes and mist them regularly, meaning more than 1x a day.

I'm thinking about getting a 160 liter weston/cabela dehydrator. But the screens look to be very coarse, letting a ton of fruit fall through. It this an issue with folks? Anyone seen a good deal on them online?

You can buy little perforated mat (not sure what they are called) for your trays. I'll update this if I can find em - I think they were posted in NTOTD thread not too long ago,
