I think it's amazing that mycology is becoming more mainstream. The sooner this gets legalized the better.

They got bored with Willy's 18 minutes intros
(and maybe some of them wants to actually be successful at growing mushrooms)

Yeah mushrooms are blowing up big in the states right now.
Twice recently Iβve seen people loading up jars and tubs at the store and I barely leave my house.

Verm is all gone here. Itβs forcing me to adapt and dial in my substrate. I need some more for PF pucks, though.

I managed to find some at HD. They said they had like 40 online. Went to the store and couldnβt find it. Took about an hour for an employee to finally find it tucked away on a top shelf. Of course I bought 8 bags. Wife thought I was crazy but itβs been soo hard to find I figured stock up. Iβll send you a couple bags brother. Itβs fine grade.

That reminds me, I need to get on that too. Had to resort to Amazon last time cause I was in a rush. Found a couple of stores that say they have stock though

I adjust my coir hydration with it and make PF substrate. I have precious little left so Iβm kinda going without it right now.

I still like to use verm in my substrate. I know itβs not necessary but I like it. I feel I can get a better water reserve with it and I use it in my casing as well. I have stopped using gypsum in my subs but still keep it on had for casing as well.

Because of you guys and those Mary ja wanna growers buying up all the COIR and verm, I've been running straw lately. I made sure I bought an extra bag before posting this!
For fun, I also saved the branches/stalks from this year's MJ harvest. I plan to crush and make subs from them too.

RIP my first Playa x Fiji MS bottles.
A week ago, the one on the right was a lil behind the other two, so I gave it a shake and it never bounced back, now is thin and grey. The two on the left had stalled out after last week, I spun the center one around just now and found that nice black patch. Iβm assuming itβs prolly in the furthest left too and just hasnβt shown out yet. The spawn had looked great in the jar, I think I donked up the G2G-style inoculation while inside the SAB.
Butβ¦ on the bright side, I just cloned this Playa x Fiji pinβ¦
β¦off of this Playa x Fiji MS T2 plate, that will be going to grain tomorrow
So, you knowβ¦you win some, you lose some. Iβve got a culture that wants to fruit.

I bought 80 bricks of coir when it was on special locally. It's nice to be using the same brand all the time. I know I can add water at a 3.1:1 ratio by weight and have perfect hydration. Using six blocks a week at the moment so it's not going to last forever.
