To be sure you should try taking a print on black card stock. If it's a true albino then spores will be white and possibly hard to see on foil. Also pins on agar may have a hard time producing spores due to very low FAE.
Either way that's bad ass man, when did you find that albino fruit? I think I may have found one myself and I grabbed some tissue. Finally dropped to grains the other day

i just started agar and have been playing around. At the moment I have some grain jars I inoculated with ms syringe that are colonized. If I took a piece of the mycelium from one of those jars and placed it on a plate, would it grow out?

I did, I inoculated some with PE, PE6, Amazon, Z-Strain, & AA+. I'm just having fun with it.

Just inoculated 5 rye jars with LI, finally got the moisture content right!
Will the LI still be fine if I made and shook it last night?

It randomly showed up from a Burma print. Produced 4 flushes of pure albino fruits on a PF cake. Other cakes with same syringe looked like Burma.

Appears I've deleted them from my account and phone.
I think these were from that cake though.

I gotta ask, what do you guys do with the lid of a petri dish if you are cutting wedges in the agar culture? I feel like I have to put it down on the table I'm working on in my SAB, mostly because the petri would slide all over the place if I didn't support it with my left hand while the right hand holds and cuts with the scalpel. I have also felt the need to put a pasty lid on the table when cutting it for transfers, and that's more concerning as a pasty lid touches the surface of the table in more areas. Of course if you are done with a plate before putting the lid back on, I suppose none of this matters. One idea would be to simply try setting lids down on an iso soaked paper towel.

Getting ready to go get those oats. Need a quick response. Is it A-Ok to sift the pellet things out? There's pelletted, and textured. the textured is what I need right? Does the "textured" have whole oats, and pellets?
Ok yes textured does have oats and pellets.
So I'd assume just sift the BS out?

My straight RGS cased with straight verm won't pin.
Anyone have any advice/objection to me gently scraping off the uncolonised verm and replacing it with some CVG?
