Sir high pressure sales tactics would be like “IF YOU DONT BUY THIS SHELF NOW YOUR PENIS IS SMALL ND YOUR WIFE WILL LEAVE YOU! There is LIMITED QUANTITY AND IF YOU DONT ACT NOW YOU WILL NEVER HAVE THIS CHANCE AGAIN.”

So how many shelves can I put you down for?

I believe it's hard to know unless you could see if the spores are translucent or dark still

Two ways to tell (but not from that image): Let it fruit and if the spores are translucent, they are true albino, or expose it to sunlight while it grows and see if the color deepens because a true albino stays white despite exposure to light.

Since you grew it in the lab you may never have exposed it to natural light.

Looks ok so far. Seems like your grains weren't completely dry on the outside before you loaded them into jars.

Hey just a tip you can use black sharpie to write on your glass jars comes right off with soap and hot water so that way you don't have to use duct tape.  But no shame here if that's your jam then rock it but just a hint I found useful

Here is what they looked like in the jar nice cluster right

I personally use masking tape on the jar because I like to transfer the tape on the tub at spawn.

Excellent, thank you for the advice!  My second round of rye berries came out a little dryer than this batch.  I had to leave them in a soak that ended up being 24 hours.  My second batch was in a soak for 4 hours and I had to boil for an extra 5 minutes but I like how they turned out better.

Not a bad idea.  I was concerned I would rub it off if I did that because I started to rub the sharpie off my petri dishes.  Again, that's because I checked them 5 times a day for a week, lol.  Hey, how often do I shake the spawn?  Or do I just leave it alone to colonize the rye?  I shook it a lot when I put the agar in the jar because the agar stuck to the sides and I had to try to get it in the grain.  I don't think it helped that the rye isnt quite dry enough.

When your jar is about 30% colonized would be a good time to shake it! Will create a small recovery time but accelerate the overall process

General rule is something like 30% 60% 100% or something. I eyeball it and give ‘em a shake then wait 5-7 days depending on how they rebound. You’ll get a feel for it eventually.

Basically you don’t wanna shake too often so you can allow the myc to recover and do its thing. You want to shake at 100% to expose any intruders that might be lying in your jars

So in a earlier post I asked if certain shrooms were leauistic or albino but since fruited invitro that could be the cause.  Well I have some SB of the same lc on oats and the pins are about 20% all white so would they be albino leauistic or mutation? Just curious and I know bad pic lol oh yeah PEU is the variety
@coolex sorry I didn't see you answered this question already
