It’s the stuff on shroom supply, he says horse manure, coco coir, Verm, and gypsum. I might just dump it and use only coir on my next grow to save $

I was thinking with agar lme, once I inoculate is and wrap in parafilm, do i put them in a plastic bag or plastic container in a dark warm place, do they need more Oxygen though or the container is good?

What i’ve been doing is wiping my cling wrap with some ISO, wrapping like 20 of them all together (usually 3 stacks,) and put them in a cupboard.
If i’m trying to save them I did the same thing, but out them in the slide out drawer on the bottom of your fridge. Preferably in a lunchbox due to temperature swings

Does anyone have advice about using perlite in a monotub to fruit regular BRF cakes? Will this work if I rinse the perlite in a pillowcase and let it drain, case it into the monotub, and then fruit the cakes on top of their lids?

Throw some vermiculite in with your coir and that's all you need for cubes (100% coir works but I find that vermiculite actually makes a difference).

That's literally a shotgun fruiting chamber. Yes it works but water tub is better. Search for it, you'll find a bunch of good posts on it. It's basically just a big ass tote with some watter on the bottom and cakes standing above the water on a rack or something.

The setup I have currently is a 116Qt monotub with detachable magnetic polyfill covers. I have about 2” of moist perlite in the whole bottom of the container. It will hold and fruit 32 cakes, according to my measurements.

32 might be a bit overkill, but if they fit they fit. Also use aluminium foil instead of jar lids to put your cakes on and trim the edges of it to be almost the same size as the cake. I started with a SGFC too, good way to dip your feet in before going to bulk. Have fun!

What syringes do you guys suggest for LC? I did some reading on reddit and here, don’t feel confident. Shroomsupply has some, may just get those?

With needles the tube you want 10 or 12 ml.as far as the needle at least 1 inch long no smaller than 21 gauge.
So I just put agar to grain for the first time. I know this is a dumb simple question but does this look right?
 Thanks

random question... if I can definitely smell trich in a shoebox, but I can't see it at all on the surface, can I be 100% sure that it's below the surface and that it'll explode eventually? Are there bacteria that smell exactly like trich?

I don't personally know what people mean by "trich smell". I've smelled funk many times but it's not always Trich. And sometimes I've had Trich that smelled exactly like Lavender for some strange reason. I'd personally wait for visual confirmation instead of relying on smell alone.
