Hittin' the wall feels good...Got some Trich here and there in the subs...Not much, but enough to make a person think hard...Messing around with stuff and not paying attention can have a cost...If it ain't broke don't fix it... right? Back to basics.

LOL, where do you keep finding these? Did you order one of the disk, with all the mushroom E-book on it, off eBay? I got one coming for ~$5 Shipped. Claims it has 120 books.

That's cool man, im gunna have to start checking out people's journals more often. I was just watching a video the other day about a guy working with metabolites from mushrooms for pharmaceutical purposes. They were briefly going over different applications for fungi, from textile to pharmaceutical. I liked where the one book in your journal about metabolites started discussing the genes that may be effected by environmental conditions and the work in the laboratory may effect the results of the metabolites. Thats the gist of what I picked up. I read briefly out of curiosity. Very cool in my opinion, hope I can find peace and quiet for that read.Lol Thanks for the journals man.

An observation (it may be pure bullshit):
I was taking a print today from a fat 3rd flush fruit, when I was done I ate the stipe and it tasted damn strong and bitter, far worse than any other fresh cube I've eaten so far.
I tripped off of it and that took me rather by surprise because I had tripped the night before and my tolerance should have been pretty high.
So that made me think that maybe a strong taste can be an indicative of high potency. Is this common knowledge that I missed somehow? Or taste doesn't have anything to do with potency?

They look fucking mean and poisonous, innit
I've seen a transformation of this ksss culture throughout subsequent flushes, and I don't think this is normal, looks like a very rare thing. I used a 4th gen agar plate to inoculate an lc with a literally microscopic piece of tissue, so I thought I narrowed down the genetics a lot, seems I was wrong.
First flush looked like regular ksss mutants with some normal looking fruits:
Second flush the fruits looked something like this type of fruit, although this pic is from another tub:
And in the third flush they adopted that kinda exotic look of the asian varieties:

This ksss is a fucky thing for sure and interesting. This culture's gone, didn't keep any backups, but good riddance, these are hell to harvest and aren't photogenic at all.

Lol mushrooms may have helped us evolve out of the caveman days, but it certainly brings us back to it for a bit.
