Guys, I think I finally understood bags. I now have 3/3 clean 100% corn bags growing.
What I did was tie a string around the bag, after folding it flap down into itself, to hold the whole thing down.
I then sterilized them without sealing. Brought the whole PC into the flow hood. Put one small agar piece in each, and then packed it down, tied the string. And then I immediatly brought the bags to a sterlite box that I clamped shut. Its been 5 days and I can see the mycelium growing, and no signs of the green.
No sealing!

not injustice but trich is widely used in agriculture, it's literally a genetically engineered bioweapon

im just thinking that even if having thrown in your face a full jar of green mold exploding isnt actually a cause of a chronic respirative issue, convincing and threatening agents of injustice with it would probably be just as good.
I almost passed out the single time I choked on a green mold cloud, i mean cops think they get fentanyl from touching addicts, and prison officers think they get stoned from smelling marihuana,
how much distress and psychosomatic symptoms would something like being the target of a pathogenic mold attack cause, even if the pathogen in itself is not actually medically considered to cause this
throw them into the city hall, throw them at Putin
its a cheap weapon, probably actually able to cause issues in some people, and the sheer lack of knowledge + terror effect makes it attractive

Mailing unmarked letters of flour or powdered sugar can get you seriously charged if the recipients may think it anthrax. I imagine throwing sporulating mold (even harmless) at someone or into city hall would land you in a government dungeon.

I hadn't heard that before now. Did some searching and read about genetically engineered Trichoderma.

hazyhorse said: anyone have any idea what might be going on on these plates?

usually my transfers are pretty clean; at most i get trich around the edges or bacteria will rear its head, but i’ve never had white contams like this until these last transfers. i’m assuming it’s contams but i couldn’t find pictures that really looked like this. when i look close, i almost looks like myc to me, so some outside opinions would be nice because i’m assuming it has to be some kind of contam. one plate is natalensis & the other is PE. the only thing i can think of outside of contams is that the plates did have a fair bit of water rolling around that may have transferred the myc around the plate as i moved them around? i’ve already taken transfers from these plates so i’m not sending them to grain or anything, just asking for my own education
Perfectly circular colonies almost always indicate mold, IIRC most molds are 'one' strain hence why they don't branch out (don't quote me on this science tho) But what's even more interesting about this (even tho it might be a coincidence) is that it's in your Nats and PE plates, both varieties known to exhibit some strange growth characteristics, hinting possibly towards some invisible intruder. As said probably a coincidence but nevertheless an interesting one 'visibly non sporulating white mold' is someone the police always want to talk more to

Does anyone think I need to drill some holes into these 2 20qt and 1 40qt tubs? I have the lids cracked but I feel like they ain't getting alot of fae. I got some smaller containers in bags and those allready have small clumps forming where pins come in at and the tubs don't have anything sadly.. Does anyone think just having the lids unlatched is prob keeping it from breathing and pinning?

Possibly but I would continue your path. What's the surface look like? That's the most important.

These are from about 3 days ago from those 3 tubs and once I get home from work I'll post some more updated pics once I'm home. For the most part they all look good and have pretty good surface conditions but they are a slightly soaked I think. Everyday I soak up big water drops that fall from the sofe
