I'm more concerned about weight to be honest, I'm renting where I stay now so I don't want to go destroying their stove but more importantly I could hurt my pc

If you get a moldy jar you can fill a bucket with soapy water and open the jar under water so the spore cloud doesn’t blow all over.

If it’s really bad you can pc the jar to kill the mold first. Honestly I just throw bad jars out now. It’s so gross cleaning them I just can’t do it to save a 70 cent jar even though I feel bad tossing it.

If you’re flame sterilizing you don’t need to pc them. I wipe down my scalpel handle with iso and then flame the entire blade really well before I start, then I just flame the blade above where it snaps on between transfers.

Wouldn't opening the jar under water cause the water to rush in and a spore explosion in your face?

ya, it does

Submerge jar, then remove the lid.

I’ve done the opening under water thing but the only problem is then I have a bucket filled with moldy grain water. I’m in an apartment so I cant just chuck it outside or something. I have to pour it through a strainer into my bath tub. So now i have more equipment that’s come into contact with mold and it’s just more trouble than it’s worth. The best/easiest method I came up with is bringing everything into my bathroom. Closing the door and turning on the exhaust fan. I open the jars in my garbage can with the lid on  (it’s a flip lid that closes as soon as I take my hands out). The jars go directly into a tub with bleach water after they’re emptied in the garbage. I spray Clorox into the garbage can after each one to take care of any airborne spores. That was the best method I could come up with without making a huge mess and having moldy material get all over the place and touch a bunch of stuff. I’m new to this so I’m open to any suggestions if there’s something to make it easier or cleaner.

Oh I left out, once I’m done I close up the garbage bag and then take a shower. I figure the shower gets any mold spores off of me and the steam help take out any that may be floating around the air.

i suspect a no fae jar night actually blow the mold up into your face.
It takes nothing to disperse them and they immediatly form a oily island on water surface allowing more spores to bounce into the air. Add the bacterial 'Pop!' And you hace a sink mold bomb.

In other unlucky news

Just pced 20 jar agars, but forgot to put agar in them.
I could tell by just shaking them that i forgot
Found the agar - spilled out on the SAB floor,
Thats what you call cannabis in Cultivation

Exotic work:

Seeing 2 hispanica shoeboxes showing possible signs of primordia.
I suspect a temperature drop is required with this meadow species so keeping a contamed one outdoors to see if cold escalates fruiting but outlook bad bc mold.
Will take pictures if anyone interested - only possibly pinning cant tell for sure

Also dug down semilanceata grain cakes, spawned rye luteoviridis outside a few days ago.

Problem is now the temperatures are dropping too rapidly - ive been too complacent in spawning the semis. Fruiting temperatures are already happening, and im worried they wont have time to fruit. It will be a big bummer if nothing at all happens

You reckon a 20L canner would be ok on this stove?

You’ll be lucky if that works. Don’t worry about damaging the stove. Won’t happen. It’ll either run the PC or it won’t. Doubt it though. Had to order a gas burner due to the same stovetop

Rough approximation: check how long it takes to boil a liter of water in a pan with no lid. Then multiply that by 1.25*(3 + (number of jars*3/5)). That will give you an idea about how long it will take to get to pressure.

But keep in mind any electric cooker can eventually get to pressure if you wait long enough and wrap a blanket around the PC. It's just a question of patience/frustration versus buying new kit.

I never had a problem using french burners on a 41 qt pressure cooker. They were commercial french burners but should work like a home stove.

Besides one's email address, what kind of personally identifying information was obtained in the hack?

If you use Tor, a VPN & a shroomery only email, seems like there's not much to go off of as far as identifying someone.
