@drMario looking forward to hearing how it goes.
My big problem with doing the science like this to compare strengths is having to wait out the tolerance.
Say you are doing 1g today and 3g tomorrow. So if 3g is not much different, how much of that can be attributed to strength and how much to tolerance?
However, we have been waiting two weeks (or more depending on schedules) and that makes testing veeeeery slow. Not to mention that it is more difficult to make an objective comparison to an experience that happened weeks ago.
Now I am working on several varieties and a couple of species. It will take months to complete comparisons. Dammit, someone buy me a mass spectrometer or a time machine!

Yeah man I gave up on trying to test everything pretty quickly.
If I’m curious I’ll give a batch out to a few people and see what reports I get back.
I’ve got like 10 things back logged that I want to try myself still, it’s impossible to catch up

And why did you filter it? You discarded what's in the spoon? Isn't that active?
How are you storing that?

Right?! I guess it is a pretty first world problem to have.
The one thing that my team have determined is absolute incontrovertible fact is that tamps rule over cubes. That is is just science. #teamtamps

Anyone tried making an extract in coconut oil? That would work perfectly for chocolates.
On a side note, talked to a buddy that i gave some chocolates and dried fruits to 5 yrs ago for cluster headaches. He reported that the dried fruits had lost all potency but the chocolates were still as strong as the day he got them. I imagine it has to do with oxygen not getting to the actives in the chocolate

Damn that’s pretty cool. That’s another thing now added to my list to try, old bags/jars to see if they still work.
I just bought coconut oil and jello to make hash gummies, looks like I’ll be doing shroom gummies too.
Or maybe both in one…

Ya, ive done that. Seems to take away the comeup anxiety when mixed with weed... or induce it depending on your tolerance

Oh, never any regrets! Cubes are the place to start learning, then I wanted to branch out and tamps were my next step. Largely because I read around here how much people felt that the high was more like mdma or acid. They are different for sure. Two thumbs up from me and my crew.
One of my testing buddies has done clinical Ketemine<sp> IV for treatment resistant depression and compares the after affects of tamps to that. Not the high exactly, but the peace he feels for a few weeks after.
On topic, I have a few other stone producers about to go to grains. Galindoi, Jalisco as well as Sempreviva and some more cloned PE and Tamps. Probably spelled every one of those wrong. Hope to be able to compare them all in a couple of months.

Has anyone bought the filter discs from this specific sponsor? https://www.myco.ca/store/Filter-Discs-0-3-Micron-p316572789
Are they the real deal or the fake filter paper/low quality filter discs that I keep seeing on Amazon?

I like to add both silica packets and O2 absorbers into thoroughly vac sealed mylar packages.
I too enjoyed Tamps over Cubes. Hoping to try something new sooner than later, but I'm trying to become a workaholic ya know.

No manure necessary. Can use straight coir, if it works with cubes it'll probably work with tamps too. Most people also apply a casing(but I've also heard a few folks use no casing but haven't seen very many comparisons.) If you want printable caps they need more FAE, do well with high humidity and in my experience don't do so great if you let them dry out too much. Yield from first flush also tends to be lower particularly if you dont provide the right conditions.
Def recommended as an easy alternative to cubes, shoot me a pm and I gotchu if you need spores.

I can't wait to branch into truffles. Too busy with pans right now though.
Any preference fruits vs truffles on tamps?
