I’ve been cheating. I just turn the air conditioning off in the house 2 hours before working, close the door, Lysol everything, and iso my work area and try to be super minimal in making air movement and still use the same techniques I acquired from working in a SAB.
Seems to work most of the time, but I’ve only fruited Reishi in 5lb sawdust bags and they have been super forgiving.

I posted this in another thread, but didn't get much response. There's a parasite eating one of my tubs. Brown spots on caps, aborts turning to slime, and any little injury that should be a bruise seems to turn into slimy rot.

Is this pseudomonas? Is it enough to quarantine the tub and use alcohol wipes on the scissors? And bleach the tub after harvest? I'll be pre-drying it in the fridge for a day, then will dry it in oven with the fan turned off, to minimize the spore spread.
I can blast my place with ozone if needed, but I guess I won't know that unless future tubs catch it.

I would love to replace booze but nothing comes even close so far.
SNRIs have made it so I don't have constant panic attacks, but the side effects blow. Before that I was dependent on Xanax for years, that blows too, I guess. I didn't have any abuse issues with it, but I was def dependent. The only thing that has always worked is booze.
This conversation is depressing. I really started getting into mushrooms to try and treat my anxiety. We shall see still!

Lol ok ok I dnt knw what if any imma get outta these last tubs. However, drilling a patch a 1/4" holes in the short sides and 3 spaced out 1/4" holes on the long sides really dials them in nicely. I dnt knw who's tek (possibly Pastywhyte) or whatever it is, but it kicks ass. Seems pretty much set-and-forget till 1st flush harvest.

Yup, summer has been awful and the whole area around me is on fire. I wonder if particulates in the air are fucking me over any?
I have def. considered going in my grow tent bleaching the fuck out of it, plugging all the holes, ozium, and then maybe a tyvek suit...But SAB works just gotta be in the mindset and not rush.

I just listened to a podcast where they brought up shrooms and ayahuasca, and this chick who’s never done any drugs starts going off about how when people take them they’re really just feeling a combination of dehydrated from purging and placebo from expecting to trip.
I’m not into slipping people doses, but if there was ever a candidate….

If she really believes that it would be easy to challenge her to dose shrooms. They don't make you purge and won't dehydrate you if you're already hydrated, so that leaves placebo.

If you all liked that go back and watch Michael pollan on jre discribing a DMT trip while he's trying to promote his book,
one quote he says on dmt is "you're not really taking information back that's useful."
what in the fuck is he talking about/ and is writing a book and is now every new York times reading soccer mom's authority on psychedelics.
Just talking shit about stuff he clearly has no idea about to just seem hip and knowledgeable.
Then gets corrected and immediately is like ohhh and then next 8ntersction listening to Joe explain s breakthrough DMT trip is just followed by nervous laughter.
But look for him to get a good jerking off and referenced for how groundbreaking he is or something for years to come.

It has to be. If I was where the fires are I'd put fucking ULPA filters in an air intake system and seal the house. Not leave without a 3M 7520 and N95 cartridges.

I just bury em in the backyard. I've buried a bunch of spent shoeboxes in the backyard, and every now and then some actives will pop up. Last time they were busy being eaten by slugs when I spotted them.

Old cube subs make great garden soil. This raised bed is almost entirely old coir and oat substrates. Just added in a bag of perlite and a bag of worm castings. The tomatoes and peppers seem to love it.
