I was amazed to get pink spores consistently by f3 when I was working on the x7x... I never finished f4, maybe ill use that as a jumping point when I get back into this...

How close can an oil heater be next to fruiting tubs?

I used Rye berry spawn bags and manure and coco coir sterilized Substrate. The photo was not edited. I just took it with my iPhone.

Red, would you edit your post to remove the vendor name? They sell spores intended for legal purposes, not cultivation.

Do you have a thermometer? You can check the temperature at the tub surface. And if you point a fan at the heater, it's less likely to be an issue. I'd leave six inches of space, but I'd also verify with thermometer.

You can begin fruiting right away, unless your area is very dry. Even so, I'd open them now. Stuff some polyfill in, or something that allows some airflow like tissues.

Not lookin so good. Not sure why either. Don't think I did anything differently than the last time I did shoeboxes, maybe when I rehydrate flush 2 will be better.

How thick of clusters might I see off MS Atl 7? I have a few little experimental grows going with it and so far I've seen one nice cluster of two growing on some pretty half-assed substrate.
If I clone this one small cluster do you guys think it might make a thicker three or four mushroom cluster when I give it better conditions?

Hey guys,
Can you tell me what the darker vertical stripes on the edge of the caps is?
This is second flush, another tub was showing it too.
Is it from too much humidity?

Uh oh, is this yellow contam or the rye?

GT MS to rye that I knocked up while waiting for clean agar xfers. Probably 2 weeks old. Shook once at around 30%.
I knocked up 4 jars but this was the only one that took so far, I think it was the one with that glob you get in syringes. Also didn't help that I shook right after innoculating. Probably why the other 3 are duds. I got mixed up with other liquid innoc teks with ms to grain ones.

Just swabbed 13 plates with another APE swab. Fingers crossed, after nailing the semi culture.
Also seeing pins on a top fruited luteoviridis jar,. But they are not growing fast, worried for them. Got one shoebox of them about to finish colonizing the surface. It's very gray.
Life goals is to fruit semis outside, fruit LPEU, fruit hispanica, fruit luteo, germinate ape, get clean agar and grain jars of serbica going, find a way to deal with natalensis blobbing, Get clean growth from this "Liz king" spore print, get s new pseudoaztecorum spore print, trade in a new melmac, pe6, ufo and enigma
Texas white cock I'm keeping,
I'm stopping growing rustywhytes after a lot of complaints, keeping golden teacher as it's always solid.
Got a new refrigerator to fruit azzies in, another to keep agar in.
Now wondering how people ventilate their refrigerator for cold species fruiting so you can keep them inside there, stable temperature but still fresh air

Yeah I have a relay set up so when the temp drops below 21 it goes up to 22. I point a fan at the oil heater as well to bounce air around the the tubs etc. I just noticed that 1 side of my tub had no condensation but the other 3 did which was away from the heater (3 foot away etc).

I have a tub (large shoebox) that's pretty fucking dried out after two flushes, there are a lot of pins that don't look like aborts but they're growing insanely slow. I have 3 mushrooms that are bigger, but also been growing for a few days and still small (1.5" maybe). Can I dunk as-is or how should I deal with this?

Im not certain. If it colonized completely in a relatively appropriate amount of time and doesnt show any metabolites once fully colonized, i'd say it's jst wet.
