Fell asleep last night and PC'd my bags for 4 hours and 20 minutes. Wasn't even high. They don't look too mushy so no biggie.

That’s one thing I constantly worry about… falling asleep during a pc run

Anyone know if this rye is too dry? I think there was barely any water left in the pc so I wonder if it pulled some moisture out. It's hard to see in the pics but there's this dry, white looking lines on the outside, maybe it's supposed to look like that.
I forgot to mention that's 2 batches of grains. Right one is my first one that I knocked up with Ms syringe. Left Pic is my recent batch awaiting agar transfers. Maybe 2 days after pc.
I may have drilled too big a hole on the metal lids, it was a .5 inch drill bit then I used rtv and easy felt to cover the hole.

Straw Seeding Mulch is processed straw with a bonding agent for tackiness which holds it together.

Spawned four shoeboxes of TOC about 10 days ago. Noticed side pins yesterday, so I opened them this morning to give them some fresh air. All four were moldy, so I just chucked them in the bin. Don't know where the fuck I went wrong, the spawn all looked super clean and this was from a clone culture.

When mycoparasites contact their fungal host, they will recognize each other. This recognition between mycoparasites and their host fungi may be related to the agglutinin on the cell surface of the mycohost. Carbohydrate residues on the cell wall of mycoparasites might bind to lectins on the surface of the host fungi to achieve mutual recognition.[12]
Quote:
Once a mycoparasitic fungus and its host recognize each other, both may exhibit changes in external form and internal structure.[13][14] Different mycoparasitic fungi form different structures when interacting with their hosts. For example, the hyphae of some mycoparasitic fungi form specialized contact cells resembling haustoria on the hyphae of their hosts; others may coil around the hyphae of their host fungus or penetrate then grow inside host hyphae.[15] Nectrophic mycoparasites may kill host hyphae with toxins or enzymes before invading them.[3]
