To who? What are you going to report? The local politicians are paid off all the way up to the governor's office. They know exactly what's happening and it's intentional. The timber industry in Oregon is basically our mob. All the timber laws are designed to make people *FEEL GOOD* and have no basis in helping the locals or forest health in any way. Greenway laws make it so timber harvesters have to leave a green strip of trees lining the roads so people don't complain about the view. Tree replanting laws are designed to make homogenous tree plantations instead of forests. Out of state timber companies own most of the private land around here, and they hire out of state workers. In fact, the industry doesn't do much to help the state at all besides grease palms.
This is America. We're crooked as fuck.

It's okay y'all, the forest decided enough with this shit and has been immolating itself. There won't be anything left to grift soon, and if they want it to regrow they are going to be forced to change management policy to reflect long term forest health. Hopefully this will balance out the cost of timber at the store. I don't ever expect it to go back down to what it was, but it should level out at not these crazy prices. Kinda like what is expected with ammo.
I get pretty riled up driving around both the country and the city seeing people's throw out/burn piles full of perfectly good lumber. The waste is incredible when one considers the investment. I highly recommend driving around and looking at job site waste piles if you want to find some lumber for free/cheap. Low wage workers are great at looking the other way for a little cash/beer/weed.
If you ever want to find yourself completely and permanently jaded get a Forestry degree in NRM.

If we grew rows trees for old growth type canopies we could intersperse rows of industrial hemp for stock and as air filtration as well as soil enrichment. Just gotta have enough monoculture apace converted and encourage the use of the hemp materials. Focus on healthy livestock and hydroponic veg to balance out the hectares. A skyscraper could feed a lot of people and by having food production in centralized locations there is far less emissions produced from transportation. Switch the grid to green energy and stop unnecessary irrigation waste associated with outdoor farming.

I always thought a rocket stove might do the trick. Maybe some kind of adjustable rack to get where you can crank it where you want it, I bet it could be done. Lots of sticks around to burn.

"Get your Irish ass outta here." Hey fuck you sandman420 lol
I am planning to use this recipe, everything showed up tonight too so I have my supplies ready. Do you need to leave much room for expansion or anything like that? because if you're using 500mL in your 1000mL bottle, well, I have two 500mL bottles should I just do say 400mL per bottle with 8g agar 8g LME?

Prep, you can fill your media bottles to the 500ml line.
Just make sure you have the cap a 1/4 turn loose before you PC.
I used to do 400ml because I was worried about boil over.
I've never had issues since I switched to 500ml.

Aint nobody got time for that.
Although rocket stoves are dope and I plan on making an outdoor cob pizza oven that features one.

Ok thanks, I've always out 3 quarts water in my PC but think I read somewhere I need to fill it to the top height of the agar in the bottles? Seems like a lot of water, is that necessary?

I do not fill pc water up to agar level in media bottle. PC for 30min. I have no problems. You will want to let the pressure drop naturally after PC cycle. If you try to gas it off, you cause the contents in your media bottles to boil over.
