I bought "that" one but it was drifting like crazy so I returned it.
I use parenthesis because there's tons of different offerings of that style scale with different brand names on it.
My AWS scales have never let me down.
The Gemini-20 is solid for precise low doses.

I don't grow PE anymore. Some of the new half breeds deem it and the casing unnecessary.

Which of the crosses has been your favorite thus far?
I'm just getting into Melmak TP from Buddaking. Hoping it doesn't revert.
Is PBR still an insider strain exclusive to tribe members?
I've yet to see many folks grow it (ted, filth, lot,... you?) I'm probably forgetting a few.
Seems no one is ever passing arounds swabs or maybe i'm just not in the know yet.

I got SWPE in the works . Als running Red Boy just cause , as well as APEU, TAT, Yeti, RW, WG, TWC, PM, Avery's, KSSS, Melmac, Tamps, Nats. I also tried to revive my old Jamp Pan and Texas Yellow Cap spore syringes. I should bust out the other prints I have for posterity sake.
That Rusty Dick got my attention

Meaning the trump cock? I don't know of which rusty dick you speak.
Mr mush, My favorite so far is the PBR. Took a couple generations to get her semi stable but she rocks. Ted has put the most work into her and done a great job. It was decided to keep in the tribe as to not let spores out before she was stable as to not chance her getting diluted by noobs and spread around. Hang tight, she's almost there.

Are there any good write ups you would recommend on strain crossing and stabilization?
I've read a little of the one Cron wrote but am seeking further details on the steps required for a stable cross.

Throw in pot, water level 2x as high. Wheat plumps like crazy. Turn on heat and when it starts boiling turn down a bit, keep it boiling. Keep checking when it's plump and the core is hydrated, drain, dry and load. You can use your nail to split it open to check. Took me awhile with wheat. For the longest I under hydrated and dried to long. They dry quick. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26326713#26326713

Any type of hot water hydration works well. Just know when the berries are ready to be strained and dried. I dry mine in my bath tub, over a 2x3 window screen with a oscillating fan on low. They are ready to be loaded and pc'd in 6 hours.

Is that 6 hours of drying time only? Or is that start to finish? I only do enough for 10 jars though.

Got a capsule filler press? 00 caps fit like .5g IIRC. Good for microdosing, not great for interdimensional exploration.
Cold water splashing in. There really aren’t hundredths-accurate scales at consumer price levels. I have this same scale and a set of reference weights that go as low as 1mg/0.001g. It’s okay above 0.5g (center the mass) and wonky below. For microdosing I weigh 1.0g or more and divide it by hand into same sized piles. It’s really, really close. IMHO as close as it’s possible to get without spending $$$$.
Estimating by capsule fill level works for me too but can vary by grind size. The coffee grinder whirrrrrs to incredibly fine dust if I’m not careful, which packs in tighter (and heavier) than larger chunks. I have to reestimate the level each time I fill pills.

I am making 6x 3qt bags of wheat at a time. Yes. I found the schedule that fits best for me is to hydrate the grain in the morning when I get home from work. Then when I get up around noon, I load the wheat up in bags and pc for 2 hours at 15 psi. So the grain is drying for 6 hours. Comes out perfect everytime.
