Don"t change the thread subject or do start a new one, please. It was, ahem, gently suggested to me. I have changed it back.
Is that a growkit? If not, good. If so: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/19058406
Good growing to you.

They're also very easy to cultivate IME, I always do Eat's tek of spawning with a 'pseudo casing', my tubs are ready in 14-18 days from spawning (1 brick coir, ~3 quarts verm, ~3200g water, 5 quarts spawn) and then they fruit in ~5-10 days. I've had a range of looks from them, including sporeless tubs. I love 'em overall, they always grow tomentose, but the substrates grow very dense and I can harvest without taking off huge chunks of the substrate, but without needing scissors.
4g trip of RWs Monday gave effects for 2-3h top
I'm sure it's just a weak set of genetics
But still surprised

Primal that sounds kinda like how hand sanitizer makes super bacteria. You put something in a hostile environment and then only the organisms with whatever it takes to live there survive and reproduce.
As far as potent cubes Burma has never let me down. I’ve only run them four times but they ended up my personal stash for the most part.

I am still a Puerto Rican guy myself, I've been grow them from the start and absolutely love everything about them. My current culture is absolute garbage but still potent, so much work to do but that's work we love.

I have followed the pftek very carefully and it appears that my mycelium has ground to a halt....
Any ideas as to why, and what I can do about it are very much appreciated 🙂

The tinfoil will restrict airflow, the dry verm layer is your air filter you should remove it.
If the 10ml is how much solution you injected per jar that's way too much. 1ml per jar is more than enough. That much moisture coupled with the high heat and restricted air means you likely grew bacteria.
What size are those jars?
I'm not sure what pftek guide you followed but it wasn't a very good one
Some of this isn't really accurate.
He followed "PFTEK For Simple Minds" it looks like, it's can be a perfectly serviceable tek.
The foil should stay on in this tek since it is the lid, plenty of air gets through the needle holes. There is NO NEED to remove the foil in this case. I'm not 100% sure if it was covered with new foil though, I can't see the holes.
However due to the thick white appearance of the mycelium it would be probable that these jars have a bacterial contamination.
Make sure they are not being stored in any kind of drafty area, and perhaps increase your sterilization times next time. And make sure to not cover with solid foil, leave the needle holes. If you choke them the bacteria will bloom and or mycelium will stall. if these have a solid foil cap poke 4 little holes without disturbing the verm.

Guys I need to solve this pronto I just mixed a tub of APE and ran out of hydrated coir so I have all the grains o the top exposed, and would have to prepare more coir.. I have already pasteurized casing in the freezer. Is it equally good if I early case this APE right at birth or better to make more coir and then later on case?

Don't need to case APE. There's a Tek somewhere to make a single qt of coir

Original Koh Samui for me. Always produced well and was potent for your classic cubes. I really liked them a lot and and want to grow them again some day.

Probably gonna put these to grain tonight. What do you think? First master jars I'm making in the last 7 months since I pretty much shut down all my cult work over winter.

Winters are harsh and spring and summer are mild where I live.
Also, I mostly shut down cause I'm not home much during the winter.
If I was home I'd love to do most my cult in the winter. Potentially moving to the outskirts of Vegas soon so maybe I'll get my wish lol

Right, though I think what happened is slightly different and it would take significant work to explore it. That's more of an evolutionary shift under pressure, with a large population of organisms. Same thing happens to create super-bugs in human incubators being dosed with inadequate antibiotic regimes.
Mushrooms as well as most organisms have epigenetic coding, an example of this is when you first expose new myc to the shift from agar to grain - they take a while to adapt and start producing the stored digestive enzymes they need. But once they adapt, if you go back to agar and then to grain, there isn't the pause anymore. They've unlocked that bit of adaptability and keep it in their open toolbox from then on.
Similar situation I expect with heat tolerance. Some switch got thrown, and there entire preference for temperatures for growing and fruiting adapted. Just a theory though. They kept the same phenotype in terms of fruit appearance though - so it was really damn curious, fruiting obvious Ps cyan caps at room temp...
Must. Just. Do. It.
