Yeah, you can keep a grain jar a min to let the other's catch up. How far behind are they? Grain jars dont need to consolidate like BRF

Sorry, don't know why I wrote grain, they're BRF. One of the jars is done, I'm waiting on three others ideally. Some will consolidate for a week or two before I spawn them to bulk if that's okay.

I would look into throwing them in the fridge to postpone a few. A week or two with BRF and you could have a fuck ton of pins which you may or may care about.

Yeah it’s fine.
The only time I clean out a tub before spawning it again is if it had a trich outbreak the last time. Probably doesn’t make a difference but I feel better about it.

Thanks, yes those are different jars and they both are colonizing very well. I just zoomed in on the problems. If you look a bit below the single red circle you can see some myc. The other jar also shows nice growth and maybe green.
6 GT were nocc'd on 05/09 and 1 GT and '7 Malabar on the 10th. In the old, small-hole SAB. Sometimes I get post-chemo tremors, which I had then, so I know there's a big vector potential. That said, my sterile game is excellent for a noob.
Here is sone of ithe plates I've transferred up to:
B

I took other pics, including some earlier with the 100mm macro on the 5DmIII. I'm beat after work.So I'll upload another time.
Nope, no LC, almost all pristine agar plates A2G. Though I'm gonna try Josex's Poke tomorrrow or the next day.
Trich is garbage, yes?
I'd be very grateful should a TC weigh in.
And here's some cultivation entertainment...
SUPERFLY' S NABE THIS EVENING

THE GT NAMED SUPERFLY:

Not (another) creature was stirring. Put the value in the chamber in the Monday, 10th.
Anyway, love a final verdict on those two jars.

QM33 said: I'm going out on a limb, cause I'm here and I know there's TCs in the thread. But ya? Haha. Looks just a hair green, compared to the other myc. And did you use LC? Did you shake it already? Cause some growth looks fine obviously, but some looks like it's having a hard time recovering, relatively. Another reason it's probably trich, or another mold even. And the last pic on the bottom left it looks kinds spotty.
Are these different jars? Now I'm wondering if that's even myc on the right in the *second pic

I don't really care about the pins; just that the consolidated BRF will still colonize the coco coir substrate despite having sat for a week or two. It still will, yes?
Unfortunately, one jar colonized way faster than the others.

Yeah, it still will. Just pick off the pins and shred.

I opened and spawned em, they smelled really nice. Doesnt say much, I know, but I dont think theres any molds that smell like fresh mushrooms right? Like it was the classic smell ive smelled from every jar thats ended up getting to fruit, very fresh vivid mushroom smell. They were a bitch to break up thou bacterial for sure but im hoping to get an oh shit flush from em to print/clone from

Fuck. And thanks, Feasoghorm. Don't like the answer, definitely appreciate it.
I will remain hopeful those will be the only 2 corpses and that the other 12 jars will be good. I did shake all the GT last night, even the two suspects. Gonna shake the Malabar this morning; a bit concerned that those are colonizing very slowly—but that could just be their nature, I guess.
I have 100 new 70mm SFDs arriving tomorrow, June 17th. [As well as 20 test tubes. ] The minute I have them I am making another 14 jars; this time Huatla and either Treasure Coast or McKennai.
Today's projects: make up 1 jar of LME LC, plus 1600 ml oat water agar in 4 media bottles [first time with that recipe], and prep the 10ml/21G syringe for the Josex Poke. I have to look at the PC time for the Josex Poke syringe prep, it'd be a pleasant thing were I able to PC those three things at the same time. In which case, the Josex Poke itself will happen. And I’m also gonna stare at the Malabar and GT jars I shook for a while, willing perfection. I'm also gonna cook up enough oats for 14 jars and let them dry overnight. May not cause UPS already pushed the SFD delivery back from Friday.
Obsession... A Beautiful Thing.
