I've been trying it out lately... I'll have to actually do some controlled tests to find out if it's helping but at least so far it hasn't led to any mold or obvious bacteria problems. I can inject a half liter into the sub pretty fast. Got a tub right now that's waiting on second flush and I haven't misted it once, but I'm going to keep injecting water.
I just don't like the way the surface responds to misting, tends to get all leathery and ugly I don't bottom water because I have a liner on the sub.

As a shitty alternative maybe. Injecting water is going to stress the mycelium and create pockets that it will have to eventually absorb anyway. There's no reason you should have to resort to such extreme measures when bottom watering does the same thing but better.
With a liner you'll have to peel it back off the sides and pour a bit in there. Dunking your sub after a flush may be a better alternative also

Quick question throw on here I've been reading a lot about this bucket tek that doesn't require any pasteurization. Before seeing this tek I was told to have ur bulk sub. Reach 160 to kill any microbes this is with coir/Vern is this an unnecessary step?

The modified bucket tek uses a cooler. I use a blue one from walmart and it does a double batch.
"Bucket tek" "Cooler Tek" or what have you is considered a heat treatment and is used with Coir, CVG, CV etc. It is not pasteurization as it uses boiling water, it's not sterilized, because it doesn't get hot enough for long enough.
It works like a charm though...

Ok here one more go at it. I'm looking into blenderless liquid inoculation with agar. I doing 6 spawn bags with 6qt of rye a pic. Does dilution play into this tek would I need say 350ml of water per bag with how many full agar plates?

Do the math man, you can noc from 10 to 15 quart jars using a 300ml LI with one agar plate.
And yes, dilution plays a roll, the less mycelium you use the slower the colonization, simple logic.

Does anybody here order their manure online? I can't find any farms with field-aged manure. Everything is mixed with stuff so I can't use it. And since commercial grade at HD and Lowes vary by region, I don't feel like using them.
Anybody use this? https://www.mycosupply.com/cgi-bin/shopper.cgi?preadd=action&key=DHYM01

I guess a dollar per lb isnt bad ... i found a dude on craigslist when i moved after calling 9 others he was the only guy who had hay fed only horses ... you really dont need it to be field aged you can do that yourself i know its winter time but stock pile for the summer a week in tge sun and a few hits of the hose and youre good ... what else is mixed in with it?

Horse poop can be full of wormers and other drugs..Chock full. Be aware, ask questions, understand how long it takes for these drugs to decompose...Organic farms for poo is a safer bet. Still not foolproof.

If you are ordering stuff online use coir. If you have a horse farm that you can scoop poo from then do that. Don't waste your money ordering bagged poo with high freight costs and no knowledge of what it actually is composed of.
