First attempt at a monotub, second attempt growing. Hopefully I get a decent pinset spawned on Mar 12 and Mar 13.

I do straight hot tap water these days... ...I'm spawning a ton of tubs in limited time I just use all hot tap water instead of boiling.
Never had an issue that couldn't be traced back to bad spawn.

Real quick question for the flowhood folks.
Is there a big difference of workflow/efficiency with a 2x3 hood vs a 2x4? Ordering from China and it's much cheaper to get a 2x3 but I don't want to regret it.
2x3 seems plenty big enough but I've just never actually worked in front of a hood and don't know if that extra foot makes a big differences with a lot of bags and such.

You'd probably be fine with 2x3.

You'll end up working in like a 12x24 space but I like to lay out as much as possible in front of the flowhood before I start. That being said if the price is important and much cheaper, ya I'd go with 2x3 as well.

I’ve done just about everything possible in front of my hood and I’d say 2x2 would be big enough for anything you need. The extra space is nice though.

I got lucky finding a 5' hood on ebay, i rock a generous half chub every time i turn it on I wouldn't trade it for the world but definitely admit that the actual area i work in is somewhere around an 18x24 or 24x24 space. Largely due to g2g (qt to bag) transfers and the sealer having a permanent home. One could easily move the sealer in and out of the flow to maximize work space.

I move my sealer in and out of flow. When pouring plates and taking transfers I use tei 6" racks to set my work atop. When I g2g just jars I use 2 racks across the face. When jar2bag I use one rack on right, bag in middle, and sealer on left. I haz 2x4.

I just got (2)105qt so I can dub them and do my bags, haven’t gotten it situated yet, but I think it’ll do what I need it to do until I pull trigger on a FFU.

I knock my sab constantly, due to it being a 66qt, never had a plate contam from pouring, in fact the rare tams I get are normally little satellites that have fallen off me. I also do my sabwork dry. Gets cleaned maybe once a month... if I remember.
I need to up my size tho, I hate having 11 grain jars in it for g2g - this is when I get tams
