Pink oysters in a tub. I have grown king's in a monotub before but I had better results in bags with slits made on the sides. I got alot of pins with the kings in a monotub but only about 30% of them actually matured.

I gre kings in an unmodified tub, ran 2 of em and kept em in the cold/dark and ignored em for weeks. They grew into coral reefs. I'll try to recreate the madness this summer, for science!

Got my first significant fruits! What do you all do if there’s some good size pins going after you harvest like 70 or so percent of them out of a tub? Pull them and soak or just let the fruits go and soak after? Seems like there’s a lot of controversy over this in older threads? :seriousthumbsup:

There’s always going to be controversy on that because it’s a “do whatever you feel like” type of thing. depends on the mood I’m in.. sometimes I’ll throw some water down the sides and let them finish the flush.. sometimes I’ll grab all of them and rehydrate for another flush.. all up to you.

Five shroom to anyone who can tell me when cubensis mycelium chokes and dies from lack of oxygen, when running no fae

Assume any normal amount of jar size or grains or air space, like how many months, does it go dormant, when does it definitely die

I'm really wondering this

Thanks crack! Oh and man I never did come back to say thanks again for helping with grain bags, been making bags and had great success with your tek plus nate's. Putting the tyvek made my success way higher! :mushroom2: Been loving it so much more than all the jars.

Idk but i assume that'd be difficult to answer based on the variables involved.

Ahhhh how do you guys decide what you want to transfer?!
I want more of everything really! But I feel I need reduce and prioritize to just a few. Im sitting here looking at my SAB loaded with 50 sterile petris ready and now Im not sure what I want to put on them! I have so many samples stored but I know lots of you have a lot more, surely you don't just do a little bit of everything you want!? Decide what you want in end and work back? Rando good looking dish gets the most transfers ?
I'm probably over thinking things.

My feed store up here in the PNW said they are slammed with orders for millet, that they assume it is for the newly legalized mushroom growing. Said one guy is ordering truckloads. And that the price will likely skyrocket. I wonder how true this could be. Seems that the entire grain market is considerably larger than this new shroom popularity. $33 per 50lbs currently.

I could kinda see that. If a couple commercial scale operations start up they could probably consume a huge chunk of the grain normally sold.

Cult seems to be way more common recently. I went to get tubs this morning and there were two other guys in there measuring out tubs with carts full of jars.

I wanted to drop some uncle Ben’s in their cart and wink at them.

i was doing this chicks roof last week and on the second day noticed she had put out a monoyub outside( empty ), had gt written on it, seen her at lunchtime walked by and casually told her that her hole placement was too high causing the condensation to drip onto her substrate and use a liner to avoid cleaning a trichy mess and walked up the ladder...the fucking look on her face was priceless:rofl:

But psilocybin therapy won't be available until January 2023.. So anything grown in Oregon as of right now is likely still illegal. Even if possession is only a misdemeanor, production is still a nono.
