You could shake it to mix that uncolonized spot up. But it isn't really uncolonized... its colonized with bacteria. The shakeup will very likely end in a very sweaty not white mess, saving you from putting it to a tub.
Happens to all of us. Sorry for your loss.

If anyone sterilizes wheat in large bags with endless success, could you chime in with your grain prep?

I’ve already shook them a while back. Fuck man this is a real bummer. I was about to birth one today even made up the coir and everything last night damn. Some are further behind than the first one I posted but it looked like just mycelium. What kind of bacteria you think it is? I don’t see any tric or anything

Yeah, not good spawn is a much more subtle thing than we wished it was. Its not about bright green or super stinky. Its about it not looking perfect. Bags aren't easy. I've been working at it for a decade. I'm embarrassed to say that, but its true.

Fuck. I was really hoping something would make it I have like 36 quart jars and 25 pounds of rye so I guess it’s time to get going with everything else. Thanks for your help buddy. Think there’s no use in even trying to get a flush out of these :/

Were we looking at photos of one bag or a few bags? The photo of a bag with an uncolonized spot should be shaken again. Its fine to shake twice. If there are bags fully colonized, sure, put them to a tub, with luck you might get one flush. I would advise mixing your coir on the dry side, as that seems to nurse a tub along better with bacteria.

Well like Ted said, you may get something out of it but there's no saving it from itself at this point. You can spawn or top fruit. Take your pick and roll the dice.

Thanks guys! Those were two separate tubs. The very very first one is the fully colonized one. Not in the main post but a few more up. The other one is a couple days behind but it looks to be about done now

I bet that bag does fine. Just don’t use a ton of coir when you spawn so it colonizes quickly.

*saw the just kidding part after rereading when typing it out*
I’ve grown good bit of it, it’s been a favorite. I usually have my grow room between 68-72, depending on hot or cold outside. I do regular 66qt monos double tape on 2 hole sides and single tape on 1hole sides. My room probably hangs around 50-55%rh. I never got them to look like the SW picture, but they hit hard and they hit fast.

Would a cannabis seed germinate if it somehow were trapped in agar without being damaged

Yes. I have done it before, it works absolutely. Agar is used in tissue culture too.
I just opened a thick dish, pushed a hemp seed into it, put a lid on the dish and let it grow. It got pretty big in there actually. Pics are on my old phone sadly amd the screen is broken
Contam grew on the dish too but it didnt seem to affect it too much

Wow thanks Nate 😁
Stupid, I thought I had a new idea for concealing seeds. Watching "Savage" now. So many countries with insane genetics, but so hassle getting them seeds

How indicative is a culture's performance in a shoebox of it's performance in a mono?
Got a lot of clones to test and I've been testing them in 2 monos each but I want to stop putting in all those resources just to see if they're worthwhile or not.
Is there any reason yield per quart would be effected in a shoebox vs a mono given all other variables like spawn ratio and surface conditions are the same?
