here's a 30x30 https://www.spycor.com/HEPA-99-97-High-Efficiency-Steel-30x30x5-7-8-p/h23a3x1.htm from that site.
edit: oops sorry says minimum order of 3
I have a huge flow hood and I had a hell of a time finding the right filter at a reasonable price and I have recieved multiple damaged filters from them being mailed.
idk if this is buyable for the public: https://www.powderbuythepound.com/biomax-hepa-9997-sbw-30x30x5-78.html and this one https://iscsales.com/item/30x30x5-7-8-biomax-hepa-filter-99-99-koch-k130306-sbm-99/

Not saying you are wrong but if we don't sterilize our grain how can I leave a jar that hasn't been nocd sit for a month before nocing it and still get viable myc. My thoughts would be that if it wasn't sterile then I would see contamination before I noc it after a month. Idk exactly how long I've let jars sit but most of my jars are a week old before inoculation and I'm getting mushrooms out of it. The spawn is a little bacterial but thats imo, how oats are, and personally I get two flushes out of a sb and the it goes to the compost, so I don't really care about a little bacteria.

A little bacteria doesn't hurt anything. I have seen slower colonization by 2-3 days when bacteria is visibly present but it spawns fine and haven't seen any real affects on yield. I think overhydration of grain with too much bacteria present is where things go sour for folks.

What's wrong with 99.997? Most people complain about 99.97, and purchase 99.99 instead, which is of course less than 99.997.
There was a lot of discussion about this recently but I don't remember which thread. 99.997 filters are tested and pass if the entire face of the filter allows .003 through, it passes. 99.999 filters are tested in smaller areas across the whole filter and each area must pass. the smaller\larger test areas mean the difference between the 2 can be a lot more than .002%. Someone else can probably explain it better but that the gist of it.

I believe these or similar is what everyone seems to be using. Amazon filter paper stickers
You reminded me that I either need to make more lids or get some of these very soon.

24x36 is $423.72 after shipping 30 x 30 is $708.69 after shipping
The problem is the 2nd place charges $200 for shipping.
oh man, $300 difference, what to do..? Man smoking weed doesn't make this decision easier.

I might be kicking myself shortly but I don't think I need the extra height. I really want the width. What will I be doing that i need more than 2 feet vertical space? I have been doing grain to bag transfers in front of my fuckin 12x24 Series 1 for 10 years.

yeah you are fine even the width is overkill but I like my 48" wide filter for sure. just not really needed and definitely overkill. I get claustrophobic and fuck my back up trying to work in tight spaces. thus the reason I went so overkill. And I was trying to be more clean than I needed when I made the plans and investment.
I did have a 2x2 for a while and inoculating the bags upright always made me feel uncomfortable(and most likely contammed a lot of bags as the top of the bag would come close to the top of the filter and then the lc I was pouring was up above the filter out of the sterile flow.
30 inches would cover that but looking at my 36" it is soooo tall. But my 36x48 was only $500 with shipping I can't remember the exact number. and the blower was about 350 with shipping.
