Not cult but about to eat some shit. Wife and baby left for the weekend (I think this is first time ever since being a parent that I'm gonna have a night by myself....)

Setting seems perfect. Barbecuing some ribs, drinking wild turkey and Coke and Sam Adams Boston lager. Got plenty of smoke. May eat some.

Also Azur, you told me to quit drinking the cheap beer and get whiskey cuz it gets you drink, I bought wild turkey and am drinking it out of one of our cups. Yes, good shit. Makes my tummy feel nice.

Is Bourbon that good in the US? Here in Germany if you buy Bourbon, it's Shit. Of Course we have beam, walker and jacky but all of them never reach a good Scotch.

Do you have better bourbon? Which one shall I give a try?

I'm not too familiar with bourbans. I mostly enjoyed tequila and mezcal as far as hard liquor wise. Azur suggested whiskey and I'll never look back now. Add some to Coke, and it's like spiced Vanilla Coke. The wild turkey is too easy to drink. The most commonly referred to wild turkey is the 101, it's 50.5%abv vs the common 40% of most hard alcohols.

I need to stop drinking this wild turkey. Idk how I feel about this trip. Everyone gone. House is quiet.

Anyway, the wild turkey just tastes so good. It's very "commercial". It's like the "mcdonalds, Burger King, etc" of bourbans. Everyone drinks it, but it's really quite good IMO. Check it out man. Worth importing a bottle of. Could I send you a little bottle? 100ml? Is it legal to mail alcohol?

:rofl2:

IMO that's true. I like to enjoy a Jack with coke sometimes.
But if I want to drink pure whiskey my favorite is Glenlivet 18.

jack daniels is just whisky it's not bourbon

walker is from the land of the place where they season food with vinegar, disregard English shit, trust me, look at their teeth for fucks sake

Is it the same to inoculate with plates that have been 100% colonized for 2 weeks? Or does it lose a lil bit of vigor? I have plates everywhere, can't keep up with them bitches to save my life

Bulleit Bourban is great. I also like Buffalo Trace. I think I prefer good bourban over good scotch, but I would probably get unique scotchs for special occasions and keep bourban as my daily driver.

Whiskey is also the only liquor worth drinking. Fuck rum. Fuck tequila. Fuck vodka. Definitely fuck gin. Wine is good in my book.

I'm currently enjoying a 6er of this... its the freshest tasting beer I've ever had, just like vine picked hops

Good question Josex, I asked that myself today.

But since guys here put their fully colonized plates for weeks in the fridge and then get them out and use them - I concluded that it's no Problem

Cult question. Can plates in the fridge get too cold? My fridge is quite cold. Not freezing, but very cold. I have two great PE clone plates in fridge that I need to take wedges from. They ok?
