I harvested my MonoTub yesterday - Made those without a liner, don't ask me why. I harvested in the way to tape all holes and fill the box with water.
Now I have the problem that there are small amounts of water on the bottom because I was not able to take out the cake and dry it a bit. This water on the bottom will be a big problem for bacteria I think. Any ideas what to do? I am very unsure I am able to get out the cake without damaging or breaking it in two parts.

Wash your hand, hold the substrate in place and tilt it all out

How much water are we talking about? Your always going to get some condensation build up in your tubs anyway. Might cause it to fruit in those areas but not that big of a deal. I have seen to many people break their subs trying to get the water out. If it isn't large pools of water I would say leave it and fruit.

So I'm making some LC today, planning to use the needle biposy tek.
I'm making 5 broths. Would you prepare 5 syringes with PC'd water? Or just use one for all 5 pokes??

One would be more than enough to inoculate 5 jars, but to make the most out of a cycle I like to sterilize a bunch of syringes with water at once in a 2L jar, each wrapped in foil individually. That way you always have some handy.

2 of my a2g jars have agar colonising stuck to the lid lol (my bad), will this increase the chances of contam? I put 3 wedges in each so they are colonising in the grains as well.
I was going to wait a few days to shake when they are about 30% but will do it now and try and dislodge them if it's a bad thing.

A bit of water isn't going to be a problem if the tub is healthy but if it bothers you too much you can put an empty tub inside that one, flip both over, remove the original tub and then use a paper towel to soak up the water. Since I'm pretty sure I explained myself with my ass here you have a couple pics so you can see what I mean.

Also good for harvesting bottom or side shrooms if you get them.
Floating a sub in a tub with holes was an outrageous mess for me the couple times I did it, would rather endure the pain of having to harvest normally.

Wicked. The first time I did it I had an issue with water shooting out then syringe during the PC cycle, any way to prevent/reduce this? Or is it part of the deal?

I feel they always lose just a tad of water but not a significant amount. I make sure they stay upright in the PC, always use a 21G needle with its cap on and I never fill them all the way (7ml max for 10ml syringes). I'm not enterily sure how important the last two are for preventing water loss but I know keeping them upright is a must.
Also, you want to avoid boil over, so wait some time after the dial hits zero before opening the PC, or just open it the next day.

yeah cool. I realised that if my syringes were totally full they wouldn't fit in my PC standing up. So squirted them down to 10ml. They are just cooling now, then it's time to start poking!

On my first run of pcing syringes I filled them to 10 and noticed that lost a bit so next run I filled them all the way up, beyond 10, so that after losing some they were right about at 10. Not sure how important that is to have exactly 10ml, it just really bugged me.

Here's an update:
The cakes are fruiting and showing a lot of growth! I'm trying to keep the temp in the mid 60s to low 70s with my house being cold in the winter. Here is a pic:

How long have you been fruiting? I have loads of tiny pins now on day 6 and a couple of fatties. Hope mine work out as good as that!

They’ve been fruiting a lil over a week. It’s looks like there’s a lot of healthy growth
