Just a heads up. Any electrical device gives off its rated wattage in heat. A 100 watt fan gives off the exact same heat as a 100 watt heater. so if a small room has some devices running in it, add up the watts used and you can start explaining an 8 degree increase 12 hours later.

If you have a FFU they are designed to run 24/7 for 5 years before the hepa filter needs to be replaced and that is with bringing air into a clean room. I wouldn't even worry about the strain on the fan itself, those things can run even longer.

Does it? Surely that depends on the efficiency of the heating element. With the fan, heat is a by product of the motor turning. There will be some heat in the wiring but not much. With a heater your pushing a current through a filament/element (something of high resistance) which causes heat to build.
They'll both have the same energy output 12KJ

but working inside a tent that encapsulates the heat within (usually) would cause a build up of residual heat given off by equipment being run inside a small enclosed space.

Oh ya, sorry don't want to undermine that point at all because every piece of electrical equipment will give off heat, including fridges, but it will be of varying temps depending on the nature and design of the appliance. Still important to account for when working in tents
100 watt heater will aim to put out 12KJ of heat energy. 100 watt fan will put out maybe 9KJ of kinetic energy and also produce 3KJ of heat. (The above is demonstrative not accurate, can't be fucked to do the math)

OK, I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna buy an oster blender for make many mushroom. Just wanted to ask before buying, since I have so many more wide mouth lids than narrow, there isn't an Oster model that supports wide mouth jars, right?
Anything else I need to look out for?

Nope. all that kinetic energy ends up heat.

Is that just cause whatever moves generates friction and heat with whatever it's moving against? Molecule by molecule as such. It'd have to be very well sealed (as it should be I supppse) to avoid any dissipation but I see your point. I was only taking my thought process to the output of the appliance, neglecting the environmental mechanics. I'll shut up now.

Oh no worries. Its kinda a cool aspect of thermodynamics. And its simple!
If your appliance could get some of its non-heat mojo, like motion or light out of the room, then it wouldn't add to the rooms heat. Like, say a cat laser hitting a tree outside, turning to heat there.

I put some bags with slight bacterial signs straight to fruit instead of spawn to bulk. Suddenly found some additional white armor on that in a 5 days. I am suspicious What do you think?

I spawned healthy bags. It's okay to fruit straight from grain, but I don't understand that additional white grow, I didn't have it in bags it appeared in GH. I will see pins (or not) in a few days but maybe someone have same experience with that

It appears to be aerial myc reaching for moisture in your martha. I would have spawned that.
Should be interesting to see the results.

So I made some plates today, ran the pressure cooker, but it never reached pressure and I kinda forgot and then the water evaporated and nothing got sterilized, nothing got damaged or melted either so thats great.
Does a steaming in a Pressure Cooker count for agar plates? Or should I just sterilize again in another PC?

Those bags are gh or the clean ones were?? Golden halo is known for having goofy myc.
Does anybody have suggestions on where and what kind of syringes to buy?? I want to learn to make them finally.
I know there’s all different size barrels and needle gauges. I think 10ml is the standard size barrel right? What about needle?

18ga 1.5in 10cc is standard

TSC has them for livestock. 10ml are good for shipping I suppose. 60ml are nice for doing many inoculations. 16 gauge X 1.5” needles are pretty standard.

Thanks guys.
I’m talking spore syringes here so it sounds like 10cc with 1.5” tips in whatever gauge. Spores don’t seem like they’ll clog anything since I’ve seen junkies use 21g no prob.
Lol maybe I should just get 100 pack of insulin syringes from the pharmacy and use those.
