The dull drone of my FFU through ear protection really gets me in the zone...
If I'm just milling about I listen to independent radio which aside from the newest singles n such they play everything; from jazz to grateful dead to live dj mixes as well as several hours of bluegrass. If I'm on amps then house/trance music just to keep up my work pace. That would be a clean 50 tubs, 100 moldy jars, edibles equipment, counters, floors, erc kind of work session, but not too common.

I think letting the sub sit after pasteurization is mostly for manure.
I’ve used coir while it’s still hot and after it’s sat in the bucket for days and haven’t noticed a difference.

I know a pan grower on here lets their manure sub sit to recover microbes after it gets a hot supper in the PC but no need to do it with coir as we aren't needing beneficial microbes for contamination restistance. Coir does that all its own.
Fresh, a week or a month later all my coirs worked the same. I use my supplemented coir quickly though as I think the additional oils might go fucky.

I listen to metal 75%+ of the time, no matter what. Between The Buried And Me, Tesseract, Polyphia, Dream Theater, etc. I'm heavy on djent, proggy technical shit, instrumental. Occasionally some rap, Gambino, Run The Jewels. If i'm in a poppy mood, i'll sing to some Two Door Cinema Club, or Miike Snow. If i know i'm going to be working for a few hours on cult, i'll look up a Joe Rogan ep.

My husband likes metal. I just can't. I liked Metallica in the 90s. Even saw them 96. Tool etc. But I don't really get into it. If you like Rogan and depending on how much you are into anarchism, revolutionary type discussions it's going down is fucking awesome. It's the only time I can listen to a podcast.

I like JREs when I'm cutting except when its a very visual episode... if he's just talking to some scientist thats fine but when he's got other people on that are asking Jamie to pull up this or that... otherwise I listen to everything from bluegrass to black metal to edm... im stuck with country at work so I listen to anything else at home.

I definitely have an eclectic taste in my music. I love outlaw country red dirt road music. The shit not played on the radio like shooter Jennings, Chris Stapleton before he became more mainstream, Jamey Johnson, whiskey Myers and Stonie LaRue. I love blues, rock, grunge, R&B, rag time and bluegrass. My favorite is hip hop but not the only genre I listen to

I almost feel like this belongs in the confessions thread now based on how many listen to him, but I can't stand Joe Rogan. Like, at all. I have never understood the public fascination with him. Regardless of that though, podcasts in general don't give me that calm mindset I thrive on for those kinds of tasks. Tried listening to Marcus Aurelius on audible for a session once. That didn't last long, but more due to narrator's monotone voice than the content. Some Esbjorn Svensson Trio or Michel Petrucciani is definitely my go to for SAB work!
Yeetusdeetus, I like your style!!
