Ok, I gotta ask... Which one of you guys told someone to put a desk fan on top of their PF jars for top fruiting?

It's funny which of your spawn makes it sometimes
This lone pseudo aztecorum is now pinning from a top fruit jar

Can we tell it's pseudo aztecorum at this point? Hope it's not a mis label

See if you put a fan on top it creates a vortex that sucks up contamination and pull the fruits to the surface and stretching them longer for monster fruits.
I don't fuckin know maybe thats the reasoning

As long as you keep it away from the rest of your tubs. Don't want all those mold spores flyin around your grow area.

I don't have a desk fan, if I sit on top of my fruiting chamber using a paper made fan will it have the same effect? I'll have to ask my daughter to do some shifts as I'll get tired.

If you add one of those colourful as pinwheels in there somewhere your fruits will be tie dye. The pinwheel has to spin though.
On a serious note though, does anybody know what eclipse is supposed to look like?

My BRF cakes have been in the SGFC for about 4 days with no obvious signs of pinning. I noticed on several of the cakes thereβs a fluffy white substance and not sure if itβs mold or mycelium. Can someone diagnose this?

Ditch the hygrometer. It'll break eventually if you leave it in there.
Try to up your temps a bit. 66 is a bit low.
The cakes look okay to me. Maybe someone else can chime in.
Pro tip: mist the walls of the SGFC heavy and when the walls are starting to look dry, mist again.
I had great success with that technique when I was running cakes. I felt that I had too much FAE and they were drying out often so misting the sides and and the cakes a couple times a day led to good results.

They look fine, raise the temp and trim done of that foil down. You want it just creating a barrier between the cake and perlite. I wrapped my jar lids with foil and used those to go under the cakes. They do look like they could use some more humidity. You can move the cakes closer together as well.
