Im bout to buy those. so many to choose from. Big roses small roses. Foam, silk petals . Bouquets
Is it possible for a mod to move this post to
Novelty grows and i quote my OP in there
Anyone wanna see anything specific?

I was thinking of those cheap polyester or whatever flowers but those foam ones might work well. Seems like they may make a whole bunch of pockets between, maybe that would encourage cluster? I dunno, just guessing.
poppies or morning glories might look cool?

I got a bunch of SFD stickers and I don't know what to do with them. They really just stick on and keep water out? Or would I still have to use foil?

Anyone ever found a cold environment leads to smaller fruits? I've been really busy lately, so all I've done is spawn the occasional tub with spawn left over from the fall. I havent had one tub yet (APE, TOC, and Stro varieties) that isn't pushing smaller fruits than normal.

I thought it was my sub being too wet at first (even though my normal coir to water ratio has worked for me for years) but I've spawned about 12 tubs in the last few months with less water than I normally use. I decreased the water content of the sub with each successive tub up until this last tub that was as dry as I was comfortable making it. I'm at a loss. Never had small fruits this long and this consistent. I'm wondering if it's the cold conditions. My fruiting room stays around 60 F (15.6 C) all winter. This is my first time letting it drop so low for the whole winter

Apologies for double post. Didn't know I was going to be seeking advice during last post and is a bit much to edit into last post.

Two parts here.

Part One:
Thoughts on these totes for unmodded monos? I don't think I've seen them used (not to say no one is, just not the go to I guess) but they seem almost ready made for it. Holes in the handles are already there so you get increased FEA without modding. Currently using one as a HC for some cakes (obviously) but will be running monos again in the near future. Always used modded before and probably still will for a while at least but I want to give these a shot. Any input\experience welcome.

Part Two:

This is the first time I have ever had fruits in the jar and it is totally unexpected. This jar is actually about the same age as the ones in the HC and was made with ground uncle ben's instant rice (yes, I know.... It was all I had at the time and I was impatient. Most of the jars are oats). What's the best course of action from here? Should I just open, add some verm, spray and top fruit or birth cake, harvest fruits, then dunk\roll and fruit in HC? Or birth, skip dunk\roll and straight into HC to allow these fruits to mature? Feels weird to be in uncharted territory PF cakes, though I'm kinda happy about it. I've seen dozens of people with cakes fruiting in vitro but I never experienced it myself. Was a big surprise when I opened the box to check them today and a welcome one. Less than an oz of dried fruits left so these are just in time!

Edit: fixing double post

I have not used them but from what I've read/seen, just stick them on the inside of the lid and you're good to go. I use the full SFDs and have run them without foil without issue. Not sure if doing so can lead to issues in the long run but so far so good.

I sprayed with 70% ISO. I laid 6 plates down across the front. I left, smoked some weed and took a shower. Went back and closed the lids and labeled them 1-6
I also held open for 10 seconds two plates each at the corners  middle @ the top &bottom of my filter.
so hopefully between those 18 plates I can know for sure if im fucked or what. I really need to do work tomorrow but i guess i have to wait at least 48 hours now.
Either way it's time for an upgrade.

This is an update to my OP about 60 hours after the test.

I know you cant see inside the plates the one with the reflection was just to show how the plates are marked.
I am assuming the one plate (5.55%) contam rate was from user error. Since the 5 other plates in that area are still clean.

Fuck winter.
There's no way to grow except a monotub.

Can't do greenhouses or rooms because there's no way to exhaust the humid-ass air unless you want to fuck your house up. So you can't provide good FAE. Can't exhaust the humid warm air outside because it won't be hot enough to prevent ice from forming.
I need to move to British Columbia.

Yeah but it's expensive as all shit to buy a house there.
Our goal is rural living but anywhere in BC seems expensive.

Never goin fuckin back to Alberta if I can help it.

I'm shutting down for a bit here to retool and revamp and the goal is a few big growing chambers for tray fruiting including a room for pans but winter fucks everything good and proper since to get FAE I need to remove stale humid air and yeah, nowhere for that to go when it's -20 unless I want a six foot ice cock hanging off the house.

I'd vent it inside because the RH is low as nuts during the winter but there's only so much moisture you can handle before everything is fucked.

There are places that are reasonably priced but you have to go extremely rural.
Is that where you're at, Alberta? I'm in Ontario. I go to Vancouver Island every year, except for last year.

I have friends that live in Hooe, BC. Houses are reasonable in that area.

Off topic, but is it good practice to leave "trade" ratings for people you receive stuff from in OMC giveaways?
Wasn't sure if it was intended for actual swapping of items...

id say any time someone is kind enough to give anything it deserves a good rating at least in the general. just cuz thats the least we can do for someone willing to be generous with their time and their willigness to share.

atleast thats my opinion on the matter
