That's the thing, it smelled just fine so I used it. I routinely use peat some weeks old without issues, just prepped too much this time and didn't want to toss the leftover jars after sitting for way over a month.
Next time this happens I'm gonna go ahead and give them a second bath for peace of mind but just wanted to ask first if this was a bad idea, can't see no reason myself why a second bath would be bad.

I expect to fruit at least 1 gram from everything in that pic so could be loaded soon. I'll make an offer then.

I thought we pasteurized to allow the thermophiles to colonize? Does that not bother them?

Lol shit I like to travel you pay for the ticket and I’ll start a mobile consulting adventure.
Especially in summer when it’s 115 here. Fuck it feels like it just cooled off but last year we hit 100 in February. And the year before got snow.
Feel better ozone layer.
Man there’s always something going wrong. I went to go turn the pc off and the burner was off but there was a small flame which I thought was like a pilot light. Then I got closer and it was coming from where the tube connects to the burner. Might’ve narrowly avoided a catastrophic situation there.

Stay safe!
Not quite as dangerous but my thumb is in pieces after my first attempt at polyfil lids, I did 16, wasn't careful enough with the metal burrs when stuffing the holes. I think most of them aren't tight enough

I’ve never done those but I’ve heard needlenose pliers are crucial.

nah, just use a block of wood and a hammer.
Smack a hole through the top with your punch and hammer. Flip it over on the block of wood and smack the burrs flat.
