If you toss a bunch of spent substrates in a garbage bag, tie and seal it and leave it alone the myc gets broken down really, really fast and all you're left with is coir and grains.
My first big grow run we had a truck full of heavy ass garbage bags that I had let sit in the basement until we had time to do the run. We drove out to the country and these bags once contained sporsplosion fruits, subs covered in fruits that had gone moldy, you name it.
We drove out to the countryside to dump them in the bush. Once we got there we cut the bags open to dump and there was no indication at all that mushroom growing had ever taken place. Just bags of loose coir like how it looks when you first prep it and some grains. No sign of any fruits or myc anywhere.

Looks ok, left side doesn't seem as happy as the right, could be light, fae, temps. Maybe just rotate it 180. Can we get back on topic though? Seriously, how much mush could a mush cult cult, if a mush cult could cult mush?

Jesus, I hope not. It's just a very small bubble thus far. Will try and get pics for a more precise diagnostic.

I haven't experienced it firsthand but this post from pasty looks a lot like what it sounds like you're trying to describe.
Unless you're saying it's just some pooling water. Anything bigger than a drop of water can be soaked up with a paper towel.

This cluster from Rustywhyte MS will be heading to agar to start isolation. 16 days from spawn to mature fruits. Beautiful cluster, not huge but they're in a tiny, tiny tub with limited spawn so there is good potential here. Should dry out to a half-decent dose for potency testing too. There is some obvious bacterial contamination in the sub so I think this was held back from what it could be.
Those fucking caps,
Another possible clone candidate but it is not a cluster.
Given its size so far it should end up being a bigger bastard. We'll see though.
@Pastywhyte great job on these genetics. Just beautiful, she zoremet. I only wish that the stipes were a little meatier but that's a small gripe.

What do we currently think of .5 mycobags? If I pre-seal these, then hang them to inflate, is that bad?

Now that we're on this topic, I'll reveal my paranoid nature. Everybody that I work with (including myself) brings our trash to work to dispose of. What can I say? We're all too cheap to pay for trash service.
I wear gloves and wipe down anything thats going to the trash. Dates and names get wiped off of plates along with finger prints. I buy trash bag sizes and brands that we don't use in our house or at my place of employment and wear gloves when its time to get one out of the box. Spent tubs get thrown in a bag and smashed real good to break it all down so that it just looks like dirt and grain. I wear a pair of work gloves when I get the trash out of the car to throw it in the dumpster.
My boss asked me why I put on gloves before I throw the trash away and I said that im just weird and don't like touching trash bags. Germs and what not when in reality, I'm just being over prepared for a scenario thats very unlikely to go down.
I guess it plays out in my head like trash man finds mushroom related stuff in the garbage and somehow knows what it is. He then alerts authorities. He finds it again at a later point in time and again alerts the blue bois. They decide that finding the guy growing mushrooms takes priority over all of the other stuff that they have going on and say, "Well, hes using this type of trash bag. Let's check for finger prints and if we don't find any, let's dig through all the trash bags from that route that are the same size and manufacturer and hope we find an envelope with a name on it." Feds swing through my windows on long ropes while flash bangs explode all around them. Granny gets knocked over and breaks a hip. I get thrown in the big house where prison rape will surely ensue. All because I didnt dispose of my trash properly.
I have a cousin that worked for waste management and he was always going through people's stuff. Always asking me if I wanted to smoke his trash weed lol. Couldn't bring myself to do it.

If you're that paranoid about growing that you're wearing gloves touching a garbage bag then maybe think about learning to grow gourmet or medicinal as a side hobby alongside your drugs.
Grow some oysters and bring them into work to show people. Have some Reishi on the go. Label your plates and shit using gourmet culture names but keep tabs in a notebook about what they really are EG: Lions Mane II = Texas Orange Cap.
Grow a couple shitake blocks and hand out fresh shitake to people you know, lol. If anyone asks if you grow shrooms just tell them you grow oysters, lions mane etc. That's what I do. Remember as George Costanza said, "It's not a lie if you believe it"

I've recently taken an interest im gourmet grows. To be honest, I've found that I enjoy growing more than I enjoy tripping. I'll probably read a lot before I dive into the gourmet side of stuff. I read for hours every day for a month before I decided I was gonna grow cubes. I'm reading about oysters now just not sure if I'll be home to harvest in time before all those spores end up everywhere.
