When I hit zero I wait 10 minutes then remove the weight and open, is that standard?

That's ok yes. You can also let the PC cool down overnight and open it the next day.

Whilst I continue with my agar transfers with the intention of following the unbodified Tek once I am happy with what I've got I have some brf jars germinating. I was going to follow the pf Tek and fruit them in a shotgun but have been reading about spawning brf jars to bulk in a shoebox. Which would you recommend? It's only really an experiment as the jars were inoculated with an ms syringe so I'm not expecting anything amazing.
I guess my only really goal at this stage is to see some fruit.

Bod has a great write up on how to spawn cakes to bulk.
If you want to just take some fruits you could do a Water Tub Tek and fruit in your unmodified containers.

I hadn't stumbled across the water tub Tek but just read it, sounds cool and relatively straight forward. I have 4 unmodified shoeboxes so could just use them. Just need to find some cookie trays that fit

Yeah I’m a fan of running the pc before bed. It always takes forever to cool down and then the jars are still too hot to do anything with for hours. This way I shut it off and go to bed then wake up, shake and inoculate.

+1 for shoebox (or water tub). The SGFC was more of a hassle for me personally.

Does the standard 7-8% dry weight after dehydration still apply for pe and pe crosses?

Got some mazapatec pics. I'm content with the outcome for dipping my toes, I forget how long it takes for the second flush to come in. There were a lot of thin mushrooms in the cluster. First flush tub1 gave me 3oz 22g second tub gave me just over 3 oz.

This will be different for each person. Ambient temps + manufacturer of the range (how many BTUs) + elevation.
Unfortunately PCing in my experience is dependent on person to person

It's actually cleaned itself a bit since but it was solid black at water level, was just a 20 minutes agar run

I cleaned mine before cooking intense, but had around the part where cooker(bottom) and top fit together so black stuff, a bit greasy(maybe oil from production or smth?) - Was not possible to clean it up 100%, jsut like 50% was off but not greasy anymore. Now after cooking I have on the outside black drop-outlines and its course, also blackish. Its not possible to clean even a bit of it with a sponge(not even the hard side) and soap or something. Its possible to scratch it off with fingernails in parts, but also working shitty.
Any ideas how to clean this? Im a bit unsure which stuff for cleaning is fine for this pot.

Hot water, sodium hydroxide, bleach, and dish soap. It may have to sit a little bit but if its oil that will remove it.

I managed to fix my burnt out nesco dehydrator.
The heater burnt out (thermal fuse blew) and it just wouldn't turn on anymore. I verified this by taking it apart and directly wiring the fan, bypassing the heater, and the fan was still working.
Bought 5 new fuses for like a dollar each and got it working again

If anyone has a nesco that won't turn on anymore this is most likely your issue and can be fixed pretty easily with a couple screw drivers and new fuses which are super cheap.
Who knows how long the new fuse will last though. I'll update if it just burns out again real quick but its the exact same type of fuse and the first lasted me a pretty long time.

Oh yeah definitely. I normally run it while I'm sleeping but even that I won't be doing. Holding off till tomorrow so I can monitor it all day. It was a pretty generic fix though and lot of info online even YouTube videos. Seems to be a pretty common problem for the nescos.
My shroomery supporter account expired. No idea how it's supposed to be upgraded again I ordered one but not connected to my username only email address. I wonder if they manually send a code or something.
I would need to delete too many pics to make room at this point. Anyone know how the supporter shit works nowadays? As in did I fuck something up? Or do I have to wait for a code or something by email?

What size fuse?? You should do a write up cuz I have one that quit turning on after a few months so I bet it’s pretty common.
