Lol damn jcm my dad might’ve seen your work. He was a metallurgist and inspected parts for micro imperfections before they went to space.
I went with him on bring your kid to work day and they had this huge I think electron microscope station that we got to look at shit with. Everything had to be dipped in gold first though it was crazy. We put a spider in there and it could zoom in enough to see its hair follicles.
Shroom welding would be intense. No way I could keep track through the mask. Soon as the flame went out I’d be floating in the dark void.

First job was a hardware store. Went there on acid once like a dumbass 16/17 year old and opened a gallon of paint up in the back room and stuck my hand in it. Thankfully the cool manager at the time totally got the situation and helped me out

Can spawn fruit? Did anyone tried it ? To spawn the fully colonized rye jars to bulk rye grains...and then try to fruit it. Without using coir and verm ? Can that work ?

well u wouldnt spawn it to more grains. but there is plenty of ppl who have used cased grains before. or top fruited grain jars. but i suggest spawning them to coir and verm in a monotub. its super easy to do so read up on stuff in the getting started section.

Beware the yields are considerably lower when casings straight grains vs spawning, also.
Pretty common to accidentally have spawn pin before you can use it, especially fast vigorous strains.

Im struggling to understand how tight should the polyfil be, and how the heck to get it on the lid without it loosing its tightness.
I watched bods tek and his "as tight as fuck" description but my poly keeps loosing its tightness when I push it through the hole
Hi Sankhara, not sure if this helps, but I'm a fan. I stuffed poly thru the hole, seemed like just stuffing was the right tightness. THEN I melted the little hairs with a flame, just like doing the ends of rope. I think they are stronger and have held up very well.

That's an interesting take Inthepit, never seen someone melt the poly hehe.
Personally I take the poly wad, ball it up and kind of compress it like im pinching some sticky rice in asia to eat. Then press part of it into hole, and with needle nose pliers pull the wad through the other side.

Wow thanks! That sounds really cool!
I ended up making a very tight ball and pushing it through the hole with a very small screwdriver, they look and feel really tight and secured in place.
I will flame them to tidy up their look now

I did this once and the coolest part was all the faces and patterns in the coolant spray hitting the walls of the lathe
