They are not bragging they are just VERY surprised about it. Pointing something really important, which is that if you maybe had asked here before you could have saved that money. At least now you know.

200 dollars is a lot of money depending the context.. A minimum wage in Argentina is 400 dollars or less.

Mushrooms are not spores by the way, spores are not drugs nor classified as such

Shit meth is a schedule 2 drug in the good ole usa so mushrooms are considered more
dangerous and illegal than meth here.

200 is a lot to spend but if theyre ok with it then thats that. No need to continually pile the shit on them

What is the reason for various decisions on how much spawn2sub to use?
Some do 1:1, 1:2 or 1:4. What gives with that? Why does it matter?

Higher spawn ratio (1:1) can colonize the sub faster. But it may need more water I believe. If you want to go for spawn efficiency, say you don't have a ton of jars and wanted a certain amount of tubs made, then you can stretch them out a bit more and lower the spawn ratio. I think higher spawn ratio would have more success up to the first flush.

Will Panaeolus Cambodginiensis Jamaica colonized in Zip Lock bucket TEKs fruit with with either coir using Bod's TEK or just vermiculite by itself in a high humidity environment? Or do I have to use manure regardless?

It might do ok on coir since it looks like you’ve got straw in the spawn but manure is pretty important for pans.

Coir will normally get you a few mushrooms but nowhere near as much as a proper sub would’ve.

Cambo Jam was crazy fast and aggressive compared to the other pans I’ve done so if you’re set on using coir they’re a good choice.

Those are the ones I’m using rn. I prefer the Thomas plates that’re like 10 bucks more. They come in sleeves of 25 instead of 20 but I like the straighter edges more. The lids on the Thomas plates feel like they fit better than the celltreats too, the celltreat lids slide around when I try to pick the whole plate up off the stack.

Yep there really nice. And if your gonna do coir for pans definitely supplement it with some kind of compost or manure even if it’s some kind of organic compost tea which I have grown pans on before with not bad results.

Actually, I think they’re kinda cheap.  They’re priced very reasonably but I find them to be a bit brittle and usually have some broken upon arrival.  I still use them so it’s no biggie.  If you can ever find falcons for cheap (rare), they’re the shit.

Maybe I had good luck but I've gone through over 1000 cell treats and none arrived broken, and I think I only ever managed to break 1 or 2, falling from like 6  feet onto a tile floor

I have been using celltreats with the grip ring. They are sturdy, so far I haven't found any that are broken. I also like that they come in sleeves of 10.

Can you not get in? There still a couple left I think.

LC question, I'm just about PC it but I'm wondering if I need something (like a marble) in there to break it up before pouring? Or is that outdated?
