Yes I'm aware. I'm just trying to be accurate here, condensation does not automatically mean bacteria. There are other factors to consider.
Some poor noob may see Pasty's comment and start sweating profusely over their jars with concern, lol.

What worked for me back when I too had a lot of condensation in my jars was to extend the drying period of my grains after soak/boil.
My overall results have improved dramatically since

I would definitely get very light condensation like that in my jars during the winter when the temps would fluctuate. A tiny bit like that isn't a big deal when it's caused by outside temps changing.

Noticed green towards the end of the 3rd flush on a spent sub. Cut a Gatorade bottle in half, wedged it over the splotch and contained it for harvest.

My grains were actually hydrated a tad more than I would have liked this time around as well, walked away from the pot to talk shit and drink beer. I nearly forgot about them, lol. So yeah, that didn't help either.

Are you sure the spores didn’t just germ in the syringe?

I can agree with the spirit here, although I’m not sure I’ve ever regarded condensation in spawn to be a good sign, at best it’s not a concern. I use a heater to keep temps in the low 70’s so I don’t see much at all, but if I do it’s suspicious because I keep temps controlled.

Just checked my tub and found a single gnat walking on the surface. It crawled onto the wall and I killed it. Is it highly likely that my tub is about to get infested with gnats?

Its a crapshoot. Usually one or two won't turn into an infestation if you kill em as soon as you see em, but only time will tell if they laid any eggs

You didn't ask it before you killed it? Jk
There's no way of knowing really but I'm not alarmed by one gnat.

Hello. I'm a newbie to this thread and a newbie to cultivation. Would anyone to be kind enough to tell me if this cake/mycelium is ready to transfer to the humidity tent, or I should keep waiting? I thought I had to wait until it was completely white but it doesn't seem to have changed much in the last week, and now there are some droplets of condensation, which the posts above have me a bit worried about. Thanks in advice for any advice.
