Until you get enough growth to take transfers from them.

I've got four plates that I've germinated pan cyans on, I've taken a number of transfers so far. Is it worth holding on to them or just washing them out and making news plates??
Also I've just intercepted a friend who was about to throw out some synthetic filled pillows, can I use the filling for mushcult?

The idea is to take growth from the germ plate get clean mycelium and continue to keep transferring to further isolate. So you don't need the germ plate after you already had taken transfers from it.

I wasn't sure if it was worth holding on to the plates to see if any of the later germinations had decent growth.

Polyfil is kind of a bitch to work with and if your homie has been putting his head on that pillow and sweating and drooling i think you should let em go. Pick up some paper tape or micropore or whatever it's called, it's way better. I started with poly and quickly moved to tape.

Fair enough, I just couldn't let them go without seeing if they were any use.
Would a couple of layers of micropore tape be enough for a LC jar?

Awesome.
Today seems to be my day of questions.
Once I've soaked, boiled, dried, then jarred my rye, how long can it rest in the jar before PCing?
I think I preped more rye than I need today and don't want to overfill my jars, or throw it out. I can't fit many jars in my PC. So am hoping I can jar it and leave it out while the first batch PC. It would probably have to sit in the jar for 2-2.5 hours before I could PC it.

I know squat about lc's and I think they require valves or some shit. I'd ask a pro

Hey people.. What is happening with this shoebox? All fruits are like that, Fat Small and sporeless.. Variety Ecuador - very different actually than the ones that I took the print..

The distance in time between the 2 photos is 3 days.

Shit I'd argue that lions mane is one of the fastest to fruit mushrooms around.
All the lions mane I have ever ran fruits in the jar the minute it hits 100%

Yeah they always want to pin before the plate even grows out, fuckers want to pop as soon as possible.
