I'm forever a convert to WBS. I love absolutely love just how many inoculation points it provides substrate when mixing. These little balls of millet and milo gram for gram must have 20x the amount of jumping off points that the same amount of oats would.

Sharpen it before every fish/monotub and it glides through fish/mushrooms like grease through a goose.
Here's a really dumb question which might answer some of the problems I've been having.. how are you all storing your LC when not in use? I wonder if I've horribly weakened some of the LC I've been using by leaving it on the spinner all day for a month in room temperature.

The originals made in Finland were the knees of the bee but you can't get them anymore and the one I had from my parents flew the coop when some jackfuck stole my boat. Feel like a ninja slicing down mushrooms with them.
Still though for the price these are great and that's some fine looking filet work there. You really kicked it up a notch.

I wonder if you ever forgot to clean it and got a contact high??? Nvm stupid thought you cook the fish so there is no way. But dumb question have you ever picked a bunch of mush and started to feel different after it. I swear iv had it soak in my skin before after 10 tubs of cleaning and cutting on half since they were to big for dehydrator's.

I like grilling fish over wood. Usually with some portobellos. Shrooms really suck up smokey flavor

For soaking up flavour I run to enoki, wrap bundles of them in bacon, roast em and finish em with a sweet glaze with sesame.
Gotta have the big butter and wine portabellos there too.

I also have that same knife and I too, use it on fish. 😁
I've got a question for you guys.
Whats the key to isolating a true potent culture that you can come back to time and time again?
I would think that putting a lot of time into isolating a clone and testing potency would be the only way to do it but is there an easier way? With MS genetics it would be near impossible unless you had 1 mushroom that weighed enough. You could take a culture from it and then eat the rest and judge potency that way but that's probably just as rare as cloning, testing and getting lucky enough that the clone was everything you could ever ask for.
Without having a fancy machine, is there any other way? Also, is psilocybin the same all across the board? Do other varieties have different characteristics like heavy visuals and less body feel goods and vice versa or does that just come down to the amount of actives offsetting eachother in each mushroom?

To my knowledge it's more the latter than the former. There are a few chemicals in mushrooms, but the 4 main ones we know about are psilocybin, psilocin, baeocystin and norbaeocystin. There are other chemicals present inside woodlovers that can promote woodlovers paralysis, but that's another story.
These chemicals all want to bind to the same receptors and depending on whats available, it affects the trip differently. Your body breaks down the psilocybin into psilocin which is the chemical that actually binds to the receptors. The more psilocin that's bioavailable the harder you're gonna trip.
Theres also other shit I've read about that involves amino acids and shit and supposedly larger amounts of GABA lead to better trips but idk any real research on any of this to be honest. This is just the shit I think I remember reading, so hopefully it helps
